Girl Get Rid Of That Jerk (Williams and Shawn) novel Chapter 429

Brooklyn pulled into a spot and killed the engine.

Allison hung up with the cops, shoved her door open, and called over her shoulder, “Brooklyn, come on!”

Outside the bar, the night was thick and dark, neon lights flickering and casting weird shadows across the sidewalk.

Two guys were half-dragging a woman whose head lolled between them, her cheeks flushed, eyes glassy. Four more men followed close behind—six total, all of them looking her up and down with hungry, twisted grins. They looked like vultures circling a meal.

Allison didn’t hesitate. She stormed over, her voice sharp and loud. “What are you doing? Let her go!”

The air reeked of spilled beer and cheap liquor.

Carolyn’s face was red, sweat beading on her forehead. She barely managed to speak, her words slurred. “Hot... so hot... I don’t feel good...”

Allison’s eyes narrowed. Carolyn didn’t just look drunk—she looked drugged.

“You gave her something, didn’t you?” Allison demanded, her voice ice-cold, eyes blazing with fury.

In the glow of the neon, the men’s faces looked even more twisted and cruel.

One stepped forward—a bulky guy with tattoos running up his arms. He grinned at Allison, eyes raking over her. “Well, well, another hottie. You wanna join us, sweetheart? There’s always room for one more.”

He let out a disgusting laugh, and the rest joined in, their laughter low and mean.

A few people passed by on the sidewalk. Some glanced over, others hurried past, not wanting to get involved.

Allison shot the tattooed guy a withering look. “You wish. You look like a toad who thinks he’s a prince—still ugly, just more pathetic.”

His grin vanished. “What’d you say to me, bitch?” He spat at her feet, cursing her out.

Allison just cracked her knuckles, unfazed. “What’s wrong? Lose a bet and had to lick the restroom floor? Your breath is rank.”

Brooklyn caught his wrist before it landed. With a quick twist, there was a nasty pop, and the guy screamed in pain as his shoulder dislocated. The bottle slipped from his hand and shattered on the pavement.

Before he could react, Brooklyn shoved his palm down onto the broken glass.

His scream cut through the night, blood streaming from his hand.

Another guy charged, fist ready. Brooklyn kicked him hard in the gut, sending him flying into a trash can with a loud crash.

“Oh, fuck! That hurts!” he howled, curling up on the ground.

The tattooed leader was wild-eyed now, spitting as he barked, “Get her! Take them down!”

The rest of the guys rushed Brooklyn all at once, desperate to overpower her.
