Mirabella tried her best to ignore her brother Nick's gaze, glancing down at her clothes with a hint of regret. "Do you think I need to get a dress for the party?" she wondered aloud.

Mirabella casually slipped her hands into her pockets, her fingers brushing against her phone. "He will," she said with calm assurance. Chester's miracle cure was on the way, after all.

Nick looked back at Mirabella, her calm demeanor reminding him of her incredible healing skills. He felt a pang of worry. "Sis, about your...," he started.

But Mirabella, reading his mind, just shook her head with a reassuring smile. "Don't worry. I'm tougher than I look."

Nick sighed, ruffling her hair a bit rougher than usual. "Don't say things like that again," he chided. Hearing his sister talk about being tough was hard to bear.

Feeling a bit overwhelmed by Nick's sudden display of affection, Mirabella turned away. "Uh... I'm going to the restroom," she announced.
