The Double or more Life of the Fake Heiress (Mirabella) novel Chapter 1826

As the stone door creaked open just a crack, two figures swiftly emerged, one after the other. It was Mirabella and a disguised Curtis. Seeing them, Wyatt let out a sigh of relief. "Ms. Mirabella, Curtis, you finally made it out," he said. If they had taken any longer, James might have blown up the mountain in a fit of rage for his beloved.

Mirabella nodded at Wyatt and made a beeline for James, grabbing his arm and whispering, "Let's go." James gave her a quick glance but pulled her close, wrapping his arm firmly around her waist without asking a single question. Then, in a tone as cold as ice, he instructed Wyatt, "Blow it up."

Wyatt eagerly rubbed his hands together. "Got it," he replied. He had a few of those new compressed bombs that could flatten this place.

"Wait." Mirabella quickly realized what he was about to do and called out to Wyatt, "No need to blow it up. The mess inside is enough for them to deal with." Besides, [HRTL] was part of the first base, and she couldn't bring herself to burn bridges, even though she wanted nothing more than to destroy this place.

James raised an eyebrow at her. "It's not good to be merciful to your enemies."

"Who said I was anything but kind," Mirabella sighed.

Curtis, standing nearby, looked confused. "??" When you poisoned a bunch of people inside the base, where was this kindness?

"Just make sure they can't come out for now. Don't destroy the main gate mechanism," James added.

Mirabella had no objections. "Alright, blow it up."

At that moment, the stone door began to open again, as those inside pursued them. They didn't waste any more time.

Wyatt was a tad disappointed he couldn't use his compressed bombs, but before leaving, he tossed two micro-bombs. Just before the stone door fully opened, he pressed the detonator.
