Nellie's eyes landed on the white jade ring at the tips of Mirabella's fingers. After a brief pause, she quickly remarked, "Yep, that's the one, but yours is a fake."

"He is," Mirabella smiled.

Nellie shook her head, not calling out Mirabella’s tendency to judge by appearances, and finally pressed the elevator button beside them. "The competition for the Davis family inheritance is intense; stay safe."

Though she offered these words of caution, she wasn’t overly worried.
