Trash Husband, I'm the Top novel Chapter 202

Someone from the Cooper family had arrived.

Monica Cooper walked in, flanked by a tall, imposing man and Samuel Quinn.

With their grandmother’s passing, Samuel finally had a legitimate reason to return.

He looked much thinner than before. After kneeling at his grandmother’s casket, he made his way to Mrs. Quinn and Eleanor, embracing them both in turn.

At last, he looked up, his gaze landing on Nora with undisguised malice.

Nora remained composed, as if she hadn’t noticed him at all.

Monica stamped her foot in frustration. “Shameless. Stealing someone else’s identity and still daring to show her face here like nothing happened!”

Her glare dropped to Nora’s stomach, eyes cold and calculating.

One could only say that Nora was unbelievably lucky—she was already a pariah, but her pregnancy had somehow won Daniel’s favor.

Monica couldn’t help but wonder, was the child really that important?

The man beside her spoke up, his voice lazy but sharp, “Monica, stop gossiping behind people’s backs.”

Nora heard this and, a little surprised, glanced his way.

Their eyes met—his gaze was nonchalant, bordering on indifferent.

Then she noticed Eleanor’s eyes were fixed on the man too, brimming with unshed tears and something softer, almost like longing.

His identity became obvious.

“That’s Hans Cooper,” Una whispered quietly from Nora’s other side, just loud enough for her to hear. “Monica’s brother.”

So it was true.

Nora looked away, still slightly taken aback. For someone as aggressive as Monica to have a brother who actually seemed well-mannered—that was unexpected.

Just as she was thinking this, Hans started walking over.

Una ducked her head lower and said hastily, “Aurora, I have something to take care of. I’ll see you later.” Before Nora could reply, Una was already slipping away, managing to avoid crossing Hans’s path.

Hans stopped in front of Nora and gave a slight nod in greeting.

“You’re Dan’s wife?” he asked.
