Trash Husband, I'm the Top novel Chapter 250

After dinner, Eleanor returned to the Quinn family home.

She had barely stepped through the door when her mother’s furious, sharp voice rang out.

“Jordan, how could you do this to me?”

The living room was a disaster zone.

Mrs. Quinn’s eyes were red and swollen as she glared with hatred at her husband—and at the young woman standing behind him.

That woman was Jordan’s mistress.

Now that she was pregnant, Jordan insisted on moving her into their home.

He spoke to his wife with icy indifference. “She’s carrying my child. Why shouldn’t she live here and enjoy life with me? Haven’t you enjoyed a comfortable life in this house for thirty, forty years? Why can’t you make room for someone else?”

Mrs. Quinn looked as if she might shatter her own teeth from the force of her rage. “Jordan, after everything I’ve sacrificed for this family, you call that a life of comfort?”

Jordan shielded the younger woman behind him. “She’s having a son.”

That was the real reason he was determined to bring her into their home.

Samuel was already ruined. Jordan needed to raise another heir from scratch.

Mrs. Quinn went deathly pale, swaying where she stood.

Her voice was full of despair. “The company is bankrupt. We can’t afford this.”

She would never allow a mistress to take up residence in her home.

Jordan was silent for a moment, then sneered. “Can’t afford it? Then have Eleanor go ask Daniel for money.”

Mrs. Quinn’s eyes widened in disbelief. “Are you insane?”

Eleanor had a job at Chambers Group, with Daniel looking after her. Asking him for money was an entirely different matter.

Jordan looked at his wife as if she were an enemy—a stranger, cold and merciless.

“Don’t think I don’t know. You and your precious daughter plotted against me, ruined everything for me.”

His anger only intensified. “You refuse to ask Daniel for help, you won’t save Samuel, you won’t save the company.”
