Trash Husband, I'm the Top novel Chapter 310

Hans’s hand curled into a fist for a moment.

“I stayed by her side, talked her through it, and she was there for me too. We confided in each other, encouraged one another, and grew together. Then, one time, I was kidnapped. She risked her life to save me—nearly got herself killed.”

Nora’s voice softened, becoming almost tender.

“I grew up alone. No family. It was hard.”

“But then I met them. I was lucky.”

When she finished, there was hardly a ripple in her tone, but somehow, her resolve shone through all the same.

Hans spun his phone in his hand, gaze distant, lost in thought.

“Hans, can’t you let her go?” Nora asked quietly.

He didn’t answer.

Nora sighed and let it drop.

Una’s injuries weren’t serious; she came to quickly.

“Aurora.” Her voice was barely more than a whisper.

Nora moved to approach, but Hans blocked her path.

“Nora, step outside. I need a word with her.”

Nora hesitated, only leaving when she caught Una’s faint nod.

Hans spoke first. “You did this on purpose, didn’t you?”

Una’s lips twitched into a bitter, mocking smile. “Yeah. I did it on purpose.”

Life had been cruel to her and Nora, so why did Eleanor get to walk down the aisle in a blaze of glory?

Fresh wounds, old grudges—it all boiled over for just one reckless moment.

She wanted payback. For herself, and for Nora.

Hans fell silent again.

Una turned her face away. “Just go.”
