99 Houses for His Love One for My Freedom novel Chapter 38

Chapter 9

I wished to rush in and clean up as soon as possible.

Before he could say a word, I took out the marriage certificate I had just retrieved yesterday from my bag and fiercely threw it in his face.

The red little notebook was particularly eye-catching, and Cameron’s face immediately turned pale.

He stared blankly and snatched the marriage certificate, flipping it over and over in disbelief.

Trembling, he opened the page of the photo and, upon seeing the person in it, his eyes immediately turned

dull and defeated.

“As you can see, I got married. Cameron, don’t come bothering me anymore!”

After I finished speaking, I extended my hand to gesture him to roll out of my house.

That day, Cameron stumbled out of my house. I thought he wouldn’t bother me again, but to my surprise, I

saw him at the doorstep the next day.

He seemed to have stayed up all night, and exhaustion was evident on his face.

But when he saw me coming out, he still forced himself to be cheerful and handed me breakfast with a smile.

“Are you going out? I bought breakfast for you, have breakfast before you go out.”

Seeing his eager look, I immediately became mischievous and a wicked smile crept up on the corners of my

mouth.

“It was so disgusting. I never ate raviolis with cheese filling before, just the smell made me nauseous.”

I disdainfully threw all the breakfast he brought into the trash can.

He looked at it in astonishment and reached out to stop it.

“What are you doing? I waited in line for a long time to buy this, it’s not like you have to throw it away if you

don’t want to eat it.”

He gave me a dissatisfied look, but it was fleeting and quickly disappeared.

“If you didn’t want to eat raviolis with cheese filling, then I would go and buy you raviolis with a different flavor.”

Seeing his sad expression, I felt nothing but satisfaction in my heart.

In the past, in order to make Cameron eat better, I would research breakfast in the kitchen before dawn every day.

But when I brought the cooked meal to him with my burnt and blistered hands, how did he react?

“It was so disgusting, was this meant for feeding pigs? Tess, if you can’t cook, then don’t bother. It’s such a waste of food to make it like this.”

He always spoke harshly to me, making me believe for a while that I was a terrible person.

With this in mind, I couldn’t help but clench my fist, looking at him with a gaze filled with coldness.

“Tess, we were together for seven years, I don’t believe that you stopped loving me just because you said so. I know you are just being stubborn with me, blaming me for not caring about you all these years.”

“You should divorce that man. I don’t mind that you have been married before. I will marry you, and we will live a good life together.”

He looked at me eagerly, his eyes filled with longing and a barely noticeable tension.

Upon hearing his words, I felt nothing but annoyance.

Is it over or not? I had also made plans with Jovanny today to go and see the decoration of the wedding hall.

“Was Mr. Kub trying to steal my thunder at my house?”
