Enzo

“Oh my god,” Nico muttered, rubbing his eyes.

Enzo crossed his arms. “Am I interrupting something?”

Both heads turned. Nico looked like he’d seen salvation.

Lola?

Lola just grinned–slow and syrupy. “Well look who finally made it home.”

She didn’t move her legs.

Nico glared. “Thank fuck.”

Enzo tilted his head, eyes dragging slowly from her messy waves, to the glasses perched low on her nose, to the way that damn shirt hugged the swell of her hips. Her lips were tinted red again—his weakness–and her cheeks held a soft glow like she’d just won an argument and a war at the same time.

“Comfortable?” he asked, dry.

She stretched, arching lazily. “Very.”

“Is that so?” Enzo cocked his head, gaze dropping briefly to her bare thighs. Fucking hell.

Nico threw up both hands. “Don’t drag me into your domestic foreplay.”

“Too late,” Lola said sweetly, stretching in that unbothered, feline way that made her shirt ride higher up her thighs.

Enzo moved in and gently slapped her feet off Nico’s lap, claiming the space next to her. “Don’t make me regret leaving you two alone.”

His gaze dipped. Those weren’t even shorts. They were microscopic. He caught a flash of dark lace at the hem and had to fight the urge to growl.

Nico made a noise and gently shoved her legs off him, muttering something about needing therapy and quitting today before vanishing down the hallway.

Lola sat up and patted the couch. “Good day?”

Enzo didn’t answer. Just stepped in close and stared down at her.

“You’re lucky I had business to finish,” he murmured. “Coming home to that view might’ve made me cancel the city.”

She beamed and wrapped her arms around his waist, chin tipped up. “Well… dinner before destruction?”

“Always,” he said. “But then I’ve got a business meeting at the club.”

Lola blinked. “Which one?”

*Club Classic with the Zhang brothers regarding port business.”

Mind as well start bringing her into the fold. There’s only one way out of this for this girl.

“Ugh. Sounds like something you catch, not someone you meet.”

He smirked. “If y

you can be on your best behavior, you can come with me.”

She batted her lashes. “Best behavior?”

He raised a brow.

She reached up, gripped the collar of his jacket, and tugged him down so her lips grazed his ear.

“No promises,” she whispered, voice dipped in sin. “But I can be on anything but, maybe… if Daddy asks nicely.”

His pulse detonated.

“Say it again,” he growled, pushing her down gently.

Her breath hitched. “Daddy?”

Enzo exhaled a curse, low and reverent. “Lola…”

She kissed his cheek like an innocent. “Yes?”

“You’re not allowed to say that in public.

You’ve been teasing me all goddamn day,” he growled, pulling the shirt up over her lower back. “Sending those pictures. Drawing on me. Acting like you weren’t begging for this.”

Her laugh was breathless. “You liked it.”

“Liked it?” he rasped, grabbing her hips, guiding himself against her, sliding the tip through the slick heat he already knew he’d find. “I nearly lost my mind.”

And then he sank into her.

Enzo wrapped one hand around her waist, the other gripping her shoulder as he drove into her again–faster now, unrelenting. Primal. Hungry. His.

She whined his name, breath catching, body arching to take every inch.

“That’s it,” he gritted. “This what you wanted, baby? Huh?”

“Yes–fuck, yes-”

He pounded into her, hips snapping forward, his chest pressing over her back, breath harsh in her ear.

“You don’t get to say that word in public,” he bit out, hand sliding up her throat just enough to tilt her head back against his shoulder. “Because I’ll bend you over the nearest surface and remind you who you belong to.”

She moaned like it wrecked her. “Y–You, Enzo. Only you.”

And that?

That finished him.

Chapter 53

He buried himself deep, pulse detonating, body trembling as she clenched and cried out beneath him, both of them caught in a high they’d been circling all day.

They collapsed onto the couch, tangled, sweat–slicked, breathless.
