Accidentally Yours
Chapter 67
His hand tugged her gently back toward him, one hand slipping into her hair, the other anchoring her waist. He bent low, lips capturing hers in a kiss that made time feel like a negotiable thing. Slow. Devouring. Final in all the right ways.
His mouth moved against hers like a promise he couldn’t say out loud. One she’d feel all day long.
When he finally pulled back, his voice was rough silk. “I’ll see you tonight.”
Lola smiled against his mouth, breathless. “You better.”
Enzo watched her go, chest tight with something terrifyingly close to need.
She didn’t look back.
She didn’t have to.
Lola
She didn’t look back. She didn’t have to.
She could feel him watching–the weight of his gaze trailing down her spine, warm and magnetic even as she stepped away.
The elevator was waiting, Gino and Marco stepping in beside her the second the doors slid shut. The air still smelled faintly of Enzo’s cologne and clean skin–evidence of the shower they’d actually managed to take before he’d ruined her all over again.
Gino’s gaze swept over her joggers, the fitted crop top with its hood resting against her back, the bite on her neck, and the faint fingerprints blooming along her throat. His grin spread wide..
“Well, damn. I see the chase didn’t end well for you. Never figured Enzo for the type to leave crime scene evidence on his woman.”
Lola smirked, tilting her head just enough to show the marks off. “Please. This is me winning.
I think we’ve unleashed something.”
Gino snorted, nearly laughing out loud. Marco muttered something under his breath that sounded a lot like Jesus Christ.
The elevator chimed and they stepped into the lobby. The front doors opened on a blast of Vegas heat, and both men flanked her like she was priceless
cargo. Which, apparently, she was now.
Gino barked a laugh as the elevator doors opened. “Unleashed something, huh? Should I be taking notes?”
“Only if you’re prepared to study,” she shot back, breezing toward the front doors.
They stepped into the Vegas heat, Marco holding the SUV’s rear door open. “Please don’t encourage him,” Marco muttered as she climbed in.
“Encourage him? I’m inspiring him,” Lola corrected, sliding into the seat.
Gino dropped into the opposite side, buckling up with a grin. “Don’t worry, Marco. I’m a quick learner.”
Marco slid in up front, turning just enough to glare at him. “If you ever use the word ‘preference‘ in the way she just did, I’m getting out and walking.”
“That’s fine,” Gino said. “I’ll drive. Lola can give me a live demonstration.”
She grinned. “See? Motivated already.”

Marco groaned, facing forward as the SUV pulled away from the curb.
Gino leaned back, eyes narrowing at her throat again. “So, hypothetically, how many rounds of… preference–testing does it take to get fingerprints that crisp?”
Lola’s lips curved slow. “You’ll have to ask Enzo. But I doubt you can afford the tuition.”
Marco muttered, “Jesus,” under his breath.
Gino grinned wider. “That’s not a no.”
