All Yours Daddies (by Mirabella) novel Chapter 5

SARAH

It’s been two days since I called the HawkThorne brothers and swore never to do it again.

I return home on a Wednesday evening, expecting to find Aaron with one of his many sluts. I’m surprised to see him watching TV on the couch when I walk in.

He pauses his show and turns to look at me.

I ignore him and head up the stairs hoping he won’t follow me. I hadn’t said a total of 20 words to him since the open marriage incident.

As usual, Aaron doesn’t take the hint.

“You’re not going to walk away from me, Sarah.”

Oh? But I already am.

I find my way to the guest room at the distal end of the hall, but Aaron quickly stands in my way.

“What do you think you’re doing?” He asks, leering at me.

“What does it look like? I need to sleep.”

“We’re still a married couple, Sarah. We would sleep in the same bed.”

A bitter chuckle escapes my lips.

“You want to be in the same bed with a half baked slut?” I have found solace in the guest room where I can be far away from him. Yet, he won’t let me have it.

His nostrils twitch. I shake my head still laughing, and turn my back to him. I wonder why people like to dish out things they know they can’t take. Is his little ego shattered? He didn’t even get to see what the HawkThorne brothers did to me all those nights ago and he’s losing his mind. Yet, he brings his filthy whores to our matrimonial home.

I make my way to our bedroom and take a shower. After that, I throw on my favorite pair of pink silk pyjamas, and keep my feet warm in white slippers.

I’m in the study downstairs when I hear the doorbell ring. Aaron is watching TV so I know he wouldn’t stand up to get it. I look up from my laptop screen to the wall clock above the door.

It’s 8pm. I’m not expecting anyone. I also didn’t order any food because I had takeouts at the office before coming home. So who could it be?

I make my way to the front door and peep through the security hole to find a delivery man.

I turn to Aaron.

“Did you order anything?”

“Fuck off, Sarah.”

Well, I guess the answer is no.

I open the door and smile curtly.

“Hi, good evening.”

“Good evening ma’am. Sarah Wellspring?”

I blink.

“Yes, that’s me.”

He hands me a big black gift box adorned with a pink ribbon tied into a cute bow tie. I barely get the chance to take it in before he hands me a paper to sign.

Who is this from? Did Kevin send a gift to me without informing me? My birthday wasn’t for another seven months.

I take the box into my study, and slowly unbox as I’m seated. In the box sits a pretty pink jewelry box. I narrow my eyes on it as I cautiously open it.

My eyes catch the sparkle of the heart shaped diamond stones before anything else.

“Oh my goodness.” I gasp, covering my mouth with my palm.
