Chapter 1346: Speed Up

"Huu... that was tiring." Whisker appeared by Atticus’ side, yawning and stretching.

"Huh? You lazy man! You didn’t do anything!"

Whisker narrowed his eyes at Ozeroth, face suddenly serious.

"What are you talking about? My cheering was master class. Got on their nerves just the right amount."

Ozeroth scoffed. "The great Ozeroth won this round," he said confidently, laughing. "Hit the idiot’s face three times with different colored paint. He felt like killing himself at the end!"

"Yeah, but it was my master class rage bait that caused him to challenge us in the first place!"

"Yeah, but if the great Ozeroth hadn’t held back his rage, you wouldn’t have gotten the chance!"

The words made Whisker pause. He had never heard anything more absurd.

"How does that make any sense!?"

Atticus sighed as they both went back and forth, each one hurling more absurd words than the other.

’I better leave them to it.’

He decided to focus on more important matters. He had just made an enemy of the Viscount. 𝚏𝗿𝗲𝐞𝐰𝚎𝕓𝐧𝚘𝘃𝗲𝐥.𝐜𝚘𝕞

’He was already my enemy.’

The Count. The Viscount. They were all his enemies. The fact that Nerrot threatened his world and family didn’t help his case.

’But the Count issued the burning.’

It was one of the news he’d learned from Lazio, the man he met just before leaving the willhall. But it didn’t matter.

’The Redflame faction is an enemy.’

This was what mattered. And to that end, he had to take care of enemies.

’I’ll start from here.’

Atticus glanced at the warships hovering around the premises of his world. They had been the ones Nerrot brought with him.

They all looked imposingly big, vast, reinforced hulls that dwarfed their own bodies, reminding him of colossal whales drifting through the void.

Flames were emblazoned along their flanks. And at their prows, the Redflame insignia burned bright.

’Five of them.’ Atticus thought. To be honest, the prospect of gaining a Baron ranked god world excited him.

Atticus suddenly vanished, leaving the two bantering men. He appeared within the warships. The interior wasn’t much compared to the exterior. The halls were littered with flaming images, some depicting major battles, others, Redflames.

Inside, Atticus found a few crew members, those manning the warships. None had bothered to attack the moment they felt him.

They knew he’d defeated Nerrot and was now basically their god.

’They’re all on the Redflame path.’ Atticus noted after wandering around each warship and capturing each crew member.

Though he was their god, they were under no obligation to serve him. The last thing he wanted was them running off with his newly acquired warship.

He had only been able to influence them earlier using his world will. It was a neat trick he learned recently during the ascension process, he could impose his will on those of his world.

It wasn’t like enslaving, more like commanding them to perform a quick order. But he had to maintain his imposition for it to last.

’It’s a problem.’

Just like he got rid of the spirit will on Eldoralth, he had every intention of doing the same for Redflame will, lest he wanted people to spy on him.

Atticus gathered the crew members but didn’t say anything. Touring around the warships, he also found the engine room.

Jenera strived for change and loved anything that ushered it. Garvic and Korrin were builders by blood. In their minds, they’d already pieced the warships apart.

"Find a way to create more of them," Atticus said, glancing towards the three of them, who smiled and nodded. They couldn’t hide their excitement.

"And I want you all to be ready." The Eldorians were taken aback by the seriousness of his tone and fell silent.

"I’m about to merge Eldoralth with a new world. It’s unlike anything we’ve ever experienced. The other world is so much bigger than ours, that it looks like we’re the ones merging with it.

"The new people will outnumber us. The amount of lands and territories we’ll need to look after will multiply, and none of them are to be trusted. You all have to be ready."

"We are." Thunder rumbled in the skies as Magnus responded. The other Eldorians also unleashed their auras, their demeanors confident.

Atticus glanced at Whisker, who shrugged.

"I’ll be back."

He said to them before vanishing. He and Whisker appeared away from the group.

"How’s their training?" Atticus asked.

Whisker sighed. "Painfully slow."

Atticus’ eyes narrowed. He didn’t like the sound of that.

With this new world coming, even the normal citizens were expected to be able to use their wills. If his strongest warriors couldn’t even use theirs, there was sure to be problems.

"How can we speed up their training?"

Whisker thought for a moment, mumbling, and then as though he’d reached a conclusion, he looked at Atticus and smiled.

"We need to visit the willess world."
