Xem sped up, tuming left toward a dock in Link City.

The two vehicles carrying the remaining protectors of Shadow Moon Pavilion followed them to the dock. Upon arriving, they saw the vehicles used by Sebastian and the others, but when they opened the doors, they found the cars empty.

“They must be hiding nearby. Split up and searcht if we find them, kill on sight”

The three protectors made a quick plan and dashed toward the nearby container area to search for Sebastian and the others.

Sebastian had already hidden Caitlin and was now working with Xero to draw the Shadow Moon Pavilion men away.

One of the protectors spotted a figure moving in the shadows and Immediately pursued it. Soon, gunshots rang out at the dock.

The protector caught up with Sebastian, firing at him, but Sebastian had just rounded a comer, and the bullet missed.

The protector kept chasing, only to be caught off guard by Sebastian, who was hiding. From his vantage point above, Sebastian kicked the weapon out of the protector’s hand, and a fight ensued.

Meanwhile, Xero was playing a game of cat–and–mouse with another protector. He purposely revealed himself, drawing the protector to

chase after him.

The two exchanged blows between the containers, with Xero finally managing to sneak behind the protector and kick him

ground.

The protector quickly stood up, raising his gun toward Xero, but Xero swiftly dodged and retreated.

Lisewhere, Zinnia, the third protector, was still searching for Caitlin in a nearby area. She checked every gap between the containers. Caitlin, hiding nearby, heard Zinnia’s footsteps drawing closer.

Quietly, Caitlin raised her weapon, ready to strike.

When Zinnia came within three meters of Caitlin, she received a call from Zorro. He asked about the progress of the operation.

Zinnia, having already noticed Caitlin’s shoe tip, realized the person hiding nearby might be Caitlin. But, after a moment, she turned and replied to Zorro, “Leader, we haven’t found Trinity. Our people are still searching the dock.”

“Make sure to end this quickly!” Zorro ordered.

Zinnia walked away from Caitlin’s hiding place, allowing Caitlin to lower her weapon. She knew that Zinnia couldn’t bring herself to hurt her

and had spared her once again.

Caitlin silently appreciated her for this.

Sebastian had been battling one of the protectors for a while. The protector’s steel bar was pressed against Sebastian’s throat, and he was

struggling to breathe.

Sebastian’s face turned red as he desperately gripped the steel bar to keep it from crushing his windpipe.

Then, with all his strength, he pushed the protector away.

The protector raised the steel bar to strike, but Sebastian quickly dodged, disarming him. With a swilt move, Sebastian struck the protector’s chest with the sharp steel bar

Sebastian eventually found Caitlin’s hiding spot. She looked at him, asking, “Did you take care of them?”

The three of them met up in the shadows. Xero had also dealt with his opponent.

They rushed to find their vehicle, but Zinnia had only found two dead protectors. Hearing the sound of a car starting, she ran out but only saw the taillights disappearing in the distance.
