Breaking Free, Loving Again -The Flash Marriage with Mr. CEO novel Chapter 730

Chapter 730: Re-examination.

In the meantime, Arwen arrived a Dr. Calvin’s clinic with Mia.

Since they left the company in time, when they reached there was still time. They had to wait a few minutes before it was their turn to enter.

"Ms. Arwen Quinn," the name was called out, and Arwen stood up.

"That’s me," she said, taking her stride towards the doctor’s office.

Ivy, Dr. Calvin’s assistant, smiled at her before gesturing towards the room. "Dr. Calvin is waiting for you. You can enter now."

Arwen nodded before turning to Mia to say, "You can wait outside, Mia. I will be fine going inside alone."

Mia understood and nodded.

Arwen then turned and pushed the door open to enter. As she stepped in, she saw at the desk, sat a man in a white doctor coat, close to the age of late thirties. Although his facial features showed similarities to usual Cralenites, they seemed mixed with foreign origins.

But he didn’t look back with that. He was handsome, and one could be sure that his face, like that, held enough charms to attract women. Especially the smile he flashed at Arwen.

"Ms. Quinn," he greeted, and Arwen smiled back at him, reciprocating his greeting.

"Dr. Calvin!"

"Please sit down." He stood up to gesture for her to take the chair across from him before he sat down himself. "May I know what I could help you with?" he asked politely.

Arwen nodded before retrieving her medical report files she brought with her bag. "These are my previous medical reports," she said, extending them out for him to take. "Please look at it. I have a query regarding it."

Her request like that confused Dr. Calvin for a moment, but he took the reports before flipping them open to check. He paused over something, his eyes turning stiffer for a second. But both his expression and eyes eased the moment before it could get noticed.

"If it’s regarding some old issue, then your first choice should be seeking the doctor who attended you that time," he said, his tone soft, polite and professional.

Arwen didn’t respond. She gave him the time to read the reports carefully.

And when he was done, he gazed up at her with the same polite yet familiar smile he had welcomed her with. "Your reports looked fine. You recovered well from that accident. I don’t think you are facing any issues now."

"What if I am?" Arwen asked, her brows kitting a little.

Dr. Calvin paused, and he glanced back at the report in his hand. Flipping a few pages, he shook his head. "That doesn’t seem possible with this report." He glanced back up at her again. "Can you tell me what problem you are exactly facing?"

His brows were closely knitted as though genuinely concerned, and even his tone sounded serious.

Arwen found this a little unusual; however, she didn’t take it seriously. She assumed Dr. Calvin was just too passionate in his profession.

"I seemed to have lost a part of my past," she said, finally revealing it without hesitation. "Lost my memories which even today, I couldn’t remember."

"You mean amnesia?" Dr. Calvin asked.

And Arwen nodded. "Yes."

He then turned to look back at the reports. He could see a report of a CT scan attached to it, and his brows furrowed deeper as he shook his head at her. He didn’t lift his gaze at her, but responded, "That doesn’t seem possible. Your CT scan report is just fine. And even the other factor states that your accident hasn’t been serious enough to make you lose your memories."

Once Ivy entered, he instructed her, "We need to do the CT scan on Ms. Quinn. Take her and prepare her for it."

"Yes, doctor."

"Also, ask them to prepare the report as soon as possible."

Ivy nodded and then smiled at Arwen, asking her politely, "Ms. Quinn, please come with me."

Arwen gave a look at the doctor. And when she saw him nod, she stood up to follow the assistant.

In a mere few hours, it was all done.

Arwen was waiting when she finally saw a nurse coming from the direction, she had gone to get the CT scan done. Her gaze trailed after as she saw her deliver a file report to Ivy’s desk.

Once she had handed it over and left, Arwen stood up and asked, "Is that my report?"

The assistant nodded before standing up to say, "Since the report is here, we can go inside now."

And with that, Ivy pushed the door open and entered Calvin’s office with Arwen. Handing the report to the doctor, she retreated.

Arwen took a chair and sat down.

In the meantime, Dr. Calvin opened the CT scan report to check. His brows furrowed the more he read through the details.
