Parker Both Whit and Milly were much more settled today , knowing that their mother was awake and alert .

He left them briefly after breakfast , with his unit , in order to go and shower and change into clean clothes .

He mind linked Annette to see how Belladonna was doing down there , and was informed there was still no active knitting and no sign of her wolf , but she thought she was doing just fine , and that shed treat her as a wolf less she wolf for now , and keep those antibiotics running and monitor for signs of infection .

Shed stay on a 30 minute rounding for 12 hours and then be eased down to hourly for the next 12 and then drop it to standard 2nd hourly until it wasnt needed at all .

She appeared to be doing okay though she had frowned at hearing how much blood hed given .

As a doctor herself , shed clearly not liked knowing that .

It wasnt up to the unconscious person but the blood donor in the wolfen world .

Though her still not having her wolf , after the sedation had worn off bothered him a bit , she should do , now that Freya was gone ; have her own beast .

He thought about that as he showered and dressed , and realised that her wolf had never ever been allowed to emerge , not once , Freya had stopped that from happening .

So , that could be seen as shed never gotten a wolf and so it might not happen until the full moon in 12 days time , and only then , under the weight of the next full moon would she shift to her beast for the first time .

Just like it would have happened at 16 but been denied to her .

He would wait and see .

Though if it didnt happen until the full moon , then Belladonna was going to have a permanent scar down the center of her chest , something caused by their own Goddess removing Freyal from her , that was never heard of in their world , and he wasnt about to go advertising it either .

That was not something he was about to record , not ever .

Hed yet to call Aston and Mala and tell them what had happened .

They would be the only ones he would inform .

He had a contract with them to let them know if something happened to her .

He made that call from the privacy of his suite before going back downstairs .

He walked downstairs and collected Whit and Milly to head back to their house so they could put on clean clothes before going back to the hospital .

He was honestly just glad she was still alive , had woken up and known who everyone was .

He wouldnt care if she never got a wolf , it would likely be safer for her not to have one and remain wolf less .

He ran a hand through his own hair as he waited for the children to get dressed .

As an Alpha , he should never want someone in his pack to actually be wolf less on purpose .

But as the man that loved her , knowing what her wolf was likely going to be ; all the signs were there , he also knew there was now always going to be a risk to her .
