47 Parker He stepped out of the Alpha Suite to see Carina coming out of the Lunas suite .

She glared at him and turned and stalked off down the hallway away from him .

She had been angry with him for months now , over him demanding to know why shed sent half a million dollars to her father back in her old pack for seemingly no reason whatsoever .

Shed coughed up whom the money went to .

Not the real reason why though he didnt think .

She had been so angry shed moved out of the Alpha suite and into the Luna suite .

Something she had gutted years ago and redecorated to her liking .

Hed told her she had to explain herself or have the monetary sum returned to the pack by her father , because he would never have approved of sending money to that man all the time for nothing .

Carina had stared at him wide eyed at his words , but their fighting had started before that , over her return to Oklahoma on an economy class seat , because he hadnt been willing to spend the money on a first class ticket for her when shed spent all of her own money and found out hed cut off her from pack funds .

Shed not even been able to afford a plane ticket home , not even an economy one , and had to call him .

Where she had demanded , not asked , that he purchase her a ticket back to the pack .

Which , of course , he had done , though the yelling from her to him while she was at the airport check in counter collecting her ticket , showed him that entitled side of her once more .

Shed been expecting a first class ticket , and it wasnt , to which hed stated simply Call the person you have given half a million dollars to over the course of our mate bond and have them purchase you a ticket .

then grated out Hidden from me that you did that , even Luna Ordered our accountant not to tell me .

shed stopped yelling at that point and hung up .

She had actually come home to him on that economy flight , but then had stated to him , that sometimes her father needed money , and she just sent it to him .

It wasnt like they couldnt afford it , and he was her dad , and she wanted him to be happy and financially stable .

Thats where the money went .

That she never saw an issue with it , that her home pack was now floundering , and her dad needed money at times .

Though shed not explained why shed ordered Bryce not to tell him about the transactions , she had turned and walked away from him and muttered , this is why , because you never let me use money when I need it .

Hed grated out Are you f ***** g kidding me , you shop all the 1/4 47 time .

shed not stated anything , just kept stalking away from him .

Then shed taken a modelling job in Canada and gone into heat up there while she was away , and had to suffer through it on her own , because she was too far away from the pack .

Shed been given drugs by one of the warriors that hed sent with her , but shed blamed him for not coming to her and sating her needs .

It had lasted for three days , and shed had the hide to come home and tell him he was a brute of a Mate , yelled it right at him out in the packhouse foyer for all to hear .

Hed raised an eyebrow at her and stated calmly You knew it was due , every year around this time , your heat is like clockwork .

And it was , hed told her as much before she left that it was due any day now , and not to go until afterwards .

And shed stated , Ill be back before then .

But had then taken herself off to another job in Vancouver and hadnt bothered to inform him about it .

His head warrior had called him and told him The Luna has taken another modelling job , were on the move to Vancouver , instead of coming home Alpha .

had been his only word on the subject , had sent those drugs to her hotel out there , if she was going to be away for her heat , willingly so , she could deal with the consequence of that herself .

He was rapidly getting over trying to stay in this bond with his Goddess Gifted Mate .

Hed already had to deal with her attitude with another model , and apparently not a human one , but an Alphas charge , and now there was footage of his Luna being an entitled b *** h to all there at the modelling shoot .

And he knew he was going to be dealing with the fall out .
