That it was clear Parker had never severed his kin bond , so to stop Whit from feeling it at this time , until the mess that she foresaw coming was sorted out , he could hang out with her children in the Alpha Suite .

Bella thanked her for the help .

She didnt know what to make of the situation right this minute , hed looked utterly shocked before shed left that office , dumbfounded by her words even , she thought .

Then she found Alpha Aston in her office an hour later .

He sat himself across from her and looked right at her .

A full curiosity it is , he nodded as he looked at her .

Parker is adamant that he has no knowledge of his and your child .

That if hed known he would never have given up his rights .

That he wouldnt have even let you birth the child alone , and would have been in the birthing suite with you for the birth of your son .

And she had , though Gretta had told her shed seen it before , so it wasnt that unusual to her or those on the Wolfen Council ; so Bella had let it go .

Gretta did , from my knowledge , converse with both Parker and his Luna , it is all above board as far as I know , as far as Gretta knows , even .

Mm , though Im not privy to those conversations between them , kind of just black out or fall into deep slumber when that happens .

Felt happy and comfortable , settled , and it was almost as if that warmth radiated to her was a part of herself , or that she belonged to it .

Though in that darkness she never saw anything at all , she could only guess that if there was something in there , it was all black like the surroundings .

Shed come around and Selena would be gone , and Freya would either be quiet , and release her body back to her to curl up and sleep inside her mind for a few days .

Shed asked Freya once what it was all about , and her wolf had yawned and told her Moon Goddess business .

If she wanted you to know , she wouldnt put you to sleep every time .

Her wolf was a law unto herself , conversed privately with their Moon Goddess , though it was always when Freya was in control and out wandering in the woods .

She also always felt unhappy to see Selena , they had some sort of unique bond , but it was starting to bother Bella now .

Because Freya was starting to feel tired and drained , listless at times , it was almost like their Moon Goddess was sapping her of her life force .

Though Freya had told her that was nonsense , to think like that .

That Selena would never hurt her , that Selena loved her , and that she was fine .

But that did not ease Bellas concerns , though she did try to push them aside , sometimes she just couldnt .

Bell ? Aston interrupted her thoughts and she knew shed zoned out there for likely more than a minute .

Sorry just thinking about Freya .

She answered him .

He nodded You dont even understand the wolf , do you .

He seemed to understand her She just shook her head no , because she did not .
