~Elara~
All my life I had never seen someone as beautiful and yet so manly. He stood tall and strong, his aura was something I have never felt before, so strong and enchanting.
“You should really jump now if you are done staring.” He sounded nonchalant, and it took me a moment to stop listening to the sweetness of his voice and focus on what he was actually saying.
I blinked. “I beg your pardon?”
He smirked, showing his priceless pearly white teeth. “I mean no offence, but the wind hasn’t gotten so strong. If you jump now, you will definitely…… you know, end it. But if you wait more, I won’t guarantee the end. The wind from this point is usually so strong, it might carry you off to safety if it starts. You don’t seem that heavy anyway.”
My jaw dropped.
I tried to say something, anything at all. But my brain seemed too shocked to even make a simple statement. Even my wolf, Ney, was already screaming at the back of my brain.
“What…... what did you say?” I still couldn’t believe his approach. “Is that how you talk to people you are meeting for the first time.”
His eyes twinkled slightly. Was that amusement I saw in his eyes?
He shrugged. “Well, if that person is about to take her own life, then why be polite?” His lips curved upwards, and my heart skipped a beat.
‘Damn… he is gorgeous.’
I searched my head for something to say in return, but words failed me. He just got me at the neck point. I gawked at me, both in surprise and amazement.
“Who are you, I don’t think I have seen you before?”
For truth I would know if someone like him was a part of my pack. He clearly was too powerful for that.
His smile broadened. “I don’t think an introduction matters, unless you’ve changed your mind, to…. You know…. end it.”
Why did he keep saying ‘end it’ like it was the most normal thing in the world?
Well, technically it is…. but still……
I looked him down. He had a crazy white hair, very unnatural for our kind, and he felt different like he was a different being, but yet he felt so much like one of us. His pupils were strangely blue, and yet it felt so familiar in a strange way, as it seemed to be staring deep into my soul.
“So, are you going to jump now or do you need help?”
I blinked. “Really, are you kidding me right now?”
He shrugged again. “This could be your last chance, before I fully abolish any rights to, you know—” He gestured towards the cliff.
“But word of advice,” He took a step closer, or maybe many steps closer. I couldn’t keep up, because he was too fast, and in an instant, he was standing before me, pinning me down with his hot gaze.
“You should really consider if jumping now is really worth it. I don’t know why you thought this is a good idea, but that only makes you weak.”
My breath hitched. “I am not.”
He smirked, gently leaning closer to me, until our lips were almost touching. He was too close that if I leaned in a little, I would be touching his lips.
“This doesn’t have to end this way; I can help you.” He whispered lightly, his hot breath fanning my neck. I suck in my breath, my heart pounding hard.
“How?” My voice came out almost in a whisper, I almost feared he didn’t hear me, but he smiled.
“You will know soon.” He said, and just like that he was away from me.
Suddenly, I was yanked out from the cliff and was safely brought to a level ground. I found him hovering over me with that crazy smirk.
I stared into his sea blue eyes, lost in the mystery that hid behind that allure.
