Howard was originally looking for Amelia. The moment he heard Gramps Hopper's yell, he immediately found his target!

He said, "Since Amelia is watching TV downstairs, Patrick must have contributed his all."

"Ha!" Florence could not help but let it out.

Howard's heart was filled with bitter pain when he finally realised that his words might indicate something dirty.

Florence's presumptuous laughter rang in Howard's ears that he felt even more regretful.

He knew that he could not stay too long with Florence 'the wicked witch', otherwise, he would lose himself soon!

Through Howard's annoyed expression, Florence figured out his emotional activity. She suddenly leaned over and gently hit his arm with her shoulder. She pretended to comfort him and said, "Dad, it's nothing. You're just back to your natural self!"

Howard was speechless.

On the sofa, Amelia was anxiously shoving Patrick's

arm. "Patrick, wake up! Gramps and dad are back!"

She heard sounds of footsteps getting closer and closer.

Amelia knew that it was Gramps Hopper and the others walking near. She could not help but become more anxious that she almost wanted to pinch Patrick's ears to wake him up in pain!

"Eh? What's wrong with Patrick?" Howard finally saw Patrick sleeping on Amelia's lap after he got near.

Howard could not help but felt very surprised at Patrick's such cute behavior that he thought Patrick was sick at first.

As Patrick was lying on her lap, Amelia could only turn the upper part of her body to look at the man behind her.

After seeing Howard's worrying gaze and Gramps Hopper's ambiguous examination on her, she adjusted her facial expression and explained with a smile, "Gramps, dad, don't worry. Patrick is fine. He just fell asleep while watching TV."

Howard felt relieved and said, "Oh, I see."

However, Gramps Hopper's tone sounded somewhat dissatisfied. "If he is sleepy, ask him to go back to his room to sleep. Is it appropriate for him to sleep on a woman's lap in front of so many people?!"
