Come To Me (Amelia and Patrick) novel Chapter 1133

Patrick's sharp gaze fell on her fist, silently reminding her of her impudence at the moment.

Amelia's hand froze and she guiltily let go of his clothes.

But she still asked anxiously, "Did you say that there is a .toxin in my father's body? What's going on? Can you explain it to me more clearly?"

"Nope." Patrick coldly refused.

Amelia got mad, "Why are you playing around with such serious matter concerning my father's life? Patrick, are you still sane?"

Patrick sneered, "Yes, only your family members matter. What about those from the Hopper Family? When you caused gramps' blood pressure to rise highly, have you ever thought of how severe it will be if he falls sick in such an old age? And granny! If her eyes become blind because of crying, how are you going to compensate her?"

Amelia frowned and looked at him. "Do you think I'm the one who caused gramps and granny to be like this? The real wrongdoer is not me, but Sissi and you! It's the two of you who forced me into this state!"

Patrick asked with jealousy and hatred, "Was it also me, who asked you to get into Sawyer's arms?"

Amelia closed her eyes hard. After holding in her rolling emotions, she said in a hoarse voice, "I'll beg you. Could you please tell me, what's wrong with my father's body!"

Patrick let go of her and said slowly, "As what I've said before, I won't kill you, but I can make you be in living hell."

She finally understood that he was deliberately arousing her curiosity just to kick her away afterwards.

Amelia held in her impulse to continue to be curious and said in vain, "I'll go and ask about it myself since you refused to tell me."

Patrick put his hand in his pocket and said coldly, "Without my permission, the specialists won't even provide follow-up treatment for your father again, let alone communicate with you."

"You!" Amelia looked at him in disbelief.

Patrick raised his eyebrow and sneered at her. He raised his hand and pointed to her chest. "How is it? Have you finally experienced the feeling of heartache?"

Amelia angrily pushed his hand away and said, "It's not that you're the only one in this world who is able

to inquire the specialists..."

Patrick said sarcastically, "But you will never be able to inquire the specialists as mine."

Amelia shouted angrily and anxiously, "So what? There must be other specialists that are able to treat my father's illness! Money can solve everything in this world!"

"President Ramsay is really bold." Patrick simply clapped for her and said with a faint smile, "Since I've dared to tell you the real reason behind your father's illness, do you think I'm not prepared for your next move?"

Amelia's eyelid twitched. "What do you mean...by saying that?"

"It's not a big deal to tell you," Patrick said in a low voice, as if he was sharing an interesting secret, "I've made, the specialists to inject a kind of medicine into your father's body. He'll start to rely heavily on it. Without the antidote, his body would become weaker day by day. I suggest that you don't rush to inquire about other specialists to treat him, if the different medicines conflict with each other, it may lead to his death."

Upon hearing this, Amelia immediately felt a surge of shock in her heart.

She became sad that she wanted to raise her hand to hit him, but he turned his head and dodged. He held her wrist firmly.

Glancing at her slender wrist, Patrick asked quite interestingly, "Do you want your right hand to be broken again?"

Amelia was silent.

Noticing that Amelia remained silent, Patrick turned back to her impatiently.

When their eyes met, he found that she was already in tears.

It was silent in the parking lot. There were only sounds of extremely tensed breathing and suppressed sobbing lingering around.

Amelia rushed over with a pale face and asked, "Miss! Is there anything wrong with my dad today?"

The nurse, who was bowing her head to take the thermometer from George's armpit, got shocked that her hand trembled.

Looking up, she found that it was Amelia, who had been gossiped on for a few days. The nurse did not say anything but just greeted her as usual. "Ms.

Ramsay, you've come?"

Amelia nodded heavily. "I came to see my dad. Is he alright?"

The nurse replied, "Your father has a low fever since noon today, but I have already asked the doctor to prescribe antipyretics for him. He has been injected."

"My dad has a fever?!" Amelia was shocked. She could not help but recalled what Patrick had said to her in the parking lot.

"I've make the specialists to inject a kind of medicine into your father's body. He'll start to rely heavily on it. Without the antidote, his body would become weaker day by day."

"Yes, but Ms. Ramsay, you don't have to worry." The nurse shook the thermometer, had a look and said, "Your father's fever is gone, look, 37°3."

Amelia took a look at the thermometer. Although it was exactly what the nurse had said, she was still worried.

It must be the drug that the specialists injected on George taking effect. Otherwise, why would he have a fever all of a sudden?

Patrick also said that George would start to rely heavily on the drug, if there was no antidotes...

Amelia's heart tightened. She thought to herself; it was fever on that day. What would happen to him the next day?

Thinking that it was because of her that George got into trouble all of a sudden, she immediately could not help but shed tears.
