Brittany replied obediently, "I see, then I won't ask mom! But Daniel, dad and mom should be the only ones who know the password. If you don't allow me to ask mom, how else can I unlock the secret in the safe?"

Daniel calmly replied, "You'll have to rely on your identity then!"

As the conversation between Daniel and Brittany came to an end, he suddenly heard the sound of the door opening downstairs.

His eyes became cold, and he quickly reminded, "Brittany! The police mentioned that my calling time is up and they are going to confiscate the phone. Remember! The bedroom door was opened after a while and Sarah's charming face was revealed.

"So it's not because of me then, but because of your phone that you're back." Daniel had originally intended to carry Sarah and fling her onto the bed. Though he was complaining to her out loud, he sneered in his heart.

He knew that Sarah returned back in a hurry was because she was afraid that he would contact someone from the outside with her mobile phone, but it was too late.

He had always known how to conquer women like the back of his palm. Since he had been with Sarah for quite a while, it was extremely difficult for Sarah to not relax her vigilance against him.

Daniel long had evil thoughts at the back of his mind, but yet he did not show it on his face. However, he acted as if he was jealous over Sarah's affection for her phone instead, and not him.

Sarah really liked it when he was like this. When she saw that her phone was still connected to the charger, she relaxed slightly and turned her body towards him. Reaching out, she clasped Daniel's neck and assured him flatteringly, "Alright, it's my fault. I shouldn't have neglected you because of my phone. Anyways, what were you doing just now?"

Daniel lowered his head to glance at the bathrobe covering his body. "It's like what you see, I was taking a shower just now."

"Oh, you went to take a shower."

Seeing that Sarah did not seem to trust him at all, Daniel took the initiative to flip the conversation around, "Oh right! About your phone, I remember that it was placed on the table over there? I wasn't really paying attention to it just now, or else I would've definitely sent it over to you." There was a pause when Daniel thought of something, and then he added self-deprecatingly, "Huh! I forgot about the fact that I'm not allowed to go out."

Daniel glanced at the clock and alerted Sarah, "That's right, don't you still want to attend the tea session?"

Watching Daniel's smile, Sarah glared at him and argued, "Why are you still laughing? It's all your fault. I'll be leaving now!"
