"Is, that, true?" Patrick stared into Shawn's eyes and asked word by word.

Shawn was, after all, a young boy. Besides, he was not as experienced as Amelia in opposing Patrick. Under the questioning of Patrick, he could not help feeling a little panic.

He was in a panic because the truth was exactly the opposite of what Amelia had said.

In fact, Shawn had accidentally found out that Amelia was in another ward. Being unable to suppress his curiosity, he knocked on the door and went in.

In Amelia's perspective, Patrick sounded like he was calling Shawn out alone to beat him up. "Where are you taking him to? If there's anything, you can talk about it here."

Patrick looked at her and calmly asked, "Weren't you worried that we'll disturb your father's rest if we talk here?"

Amelia was speechless. She could only watch Shawn to be dragged outside by Patrick.

Before Shawn left, he quickly made a gesture of 'text you later' at her.

Although he was still young, he was not completely innocent either. Shawn had already gotten Amelia's WhatsApp number before Patrick came in.

"How dare you still ask about it?" Patrick pointed at his nose and said, "I remember that I've warned you half an hour ago, to stay away from Amelia, yet you have ignored my words!"

Shawn let out a slight 'oh' and asked fearlessly, "Yes, you have warned me, but I don't understand why?"

"What do you not understand?"

"The two of you are divorced, right? Ms. Ramsay has the freedom to meet any man she wants. Patrick, shouldn't you mind your own business?"

Shawn's words angered Patrick to the point that he directly lifted him by the collar and asked irritably, "Kid, are you trying to make trouble?"

Shawn quickly reached out to cover his face and shouted nervously, "Please, Patrick! Don't hit me in the face!"

Following the sound, Amelia strode out and immediately saw Patrick grabbing Shawn's collar.

"Patrick!" She shouted as she walked near them.

"Why are bullying a kid who's 10 years younger than you?"

Patrick took a deep breath and turned his head to ask Amelia, who suddenly came out to spoil his plans, "What are you doing here? Don't you need to take care of your father?" "You guys are arguing so loud. If I don't come out in time, I'm afraid that it'll be a murder scene here, won't it?" Amelia did not call out their names in case of embarrassing them.
