Come To Me (Amelia and Patrick) novel Chapter 1196

Patrick got confused by her laugh, "What are you laughing at?"

Amelia was busy laughing and did not bother him.

Patrick could not help but got more curious. "What exactly are you laughing at?"

Moments later.

Amelia gradually stopped laughing and said intermittently, "Nothing... I don't think you want to know."

Her mouth tasted bitter because she had taken medicine.

As for what medicine had she taken?

Haha, when Amelia thought of how Patrick, a man, had actually consumed pregnancy

medicine indirectly, she laughed to the point that her stomach almost ached.

Patrick raised his eyebrows, and fully proving his strong desire in knowing the matter at this time.

When Amelia finally stopped laughing, she said, "Mr. Patrick, if I were to forcibly kiss you again, please push me away. To be honest, I was just sleepily in a daze just now. In fact, I don't want to take advantage

of you at all!"

Patrick hated most when Amelia said such words. "Since you don't want to take advantage of me, why do you still beg me not to leave you?"

Amelia frowned and tried to recall the scene at that time. "I don't remember calling your name. Since I did not call your name, can you stop being narcissistic to involve yourself in?"

Patrick's eyes turned sharp. "If it wasn't me, then who was it?"

When Amelia was stared at by him, she could not help but shrunk her neck that was in a chill and said with hesitant, "I was referring to my parents, is there any problem with it?"

Her words weakened the murderous look in Patrick's eyes, while his serious tone turned to be mocking, "Oh? As an adult, will you still accept kisses with your parents on the mouth?"

Amelia became completely speechless.

Patrick grinned wickedly and said, "Just admit it. You still have improper thoughts about me."

The maids, who witnessed Patrick stealing a kiss on Amelia while she was asleep, were speechless when they heard his words.

Could Patrick stop being arrogant?

So what if he took the initiative to admit that he had kissed Amelia? Why did he have to make Amelia, a young lady, to suffer from such embarrassment?

"Sigh, I think Mr. Patrick is hopeless in remarrying Ms. Amelia unless he started to learn about ways to coax ladies."

"I'll go with you."

"Me too."

"Me three."

As expected, Amelia got angry and said, "F*ck your wild thoughts! I would like pigs, or dogs, but I won't like you anymore!"

So was he worse than a pig or a dog?

Patrick was extremely angry that he laughed, "I'll wait for the day when you slap yourself in the face."

"Don't worry, I won't!" Amelia said heavily.

"I hope so." Patrick said with some anger. Then he turned to the maid behind him and said, "You may serve the afternoon tea."

Although he could not take Amelia as his meal, he could still take the pastries to satisfy his hunger.

Amelia originally did not intend to entertain him, but when she caught a glimpse of all kinds of pastries on the table, her stomach rumbled.

The maid immediately said, "Ms. Amelia, I have prepared your favorite cookies for you. Please sit

down to have it with Mr. Patrick."

Who allowed her to speak! Amelia glared at her angrily.

The maid stuck out her tongue and put the dessert platter down before moving back to the side.

A! Guest! After! All!

She mentioned it once again!

Patrick gritted his teeth. He did not have a prejudice against Alice, but Alice wanting to draw a clear line between him and Amelia had made him angry from inside out!

"Okay, Aunt Alice, I'll see him off." After a pause, she said to Patrick calmly, "Please, Mr. Patrick."

"Mmm." Patrick casually put the suit jacket on his left arm and bypassed the sofa as usual.

But just as he passed by Alice, he suddenly stopped and looked to the side, asking, "By the way, how is Mr. Ramsay's health recently?"

Amelia was following by Patrick's side. She almost screamed out loud when she heard his words.

Why did Patrick ask about it? Was he trying to tell Alice the truth about her father's illness?

No way! Alice would definitely not be able to bear it!

Under Amelia's frightened gaze, Alice nodded to Patrick politely yet distantly, "Thank you for your concern. My husband is doing great."

"That's good." Patrick gave a meaningful smile and walked away.

However, Alice only felt that his smile was hairraising, which made her even more determined to make Amelia stay away from the man!

Patrick's conversation with Alice had caused Amelia to almost lose her breath.

When she came to herself again, she had caught up with Patrick in anger. She gnashed her teeth and asked, "Why did you ask Aunt Alice about my father's situation?"

Patrick said calmly, "It's out of concern."

Amelia did not believe his words, "There's no one in the world who knows better than you about my father's health condition! Yet you still asked Aunt Alice in that way. You are...obviously..."

"Obviously what?" Patrick gave her a side glance, motioning her to continue her words.

"You're obviously threatening me!" Amelia said angrily.
