Come To Me (Amelia and Patrick) novel Chapter 1203

All Amelia knew was two days ago, news about her, Patrick and Sawyer had greatly decreased.

She thought it was because there was nothing more about them to be reported but once she heard what Patrick said, she felt as if this was all because of Patrick.

Could it be that Patrick had used his influence to stop the press, news, and media...

When she was lost in her thought, Patrick's cold voice came into her ears. "Is it because that we are divorced, so right now even if I'm talking to you in person, you could act like I'm not here and continued on daydreaming?"

"Yes." Amelia came to her senses and said resolutely as she met Patrick's eyes.

"I should really kill her!" Patrick thought angrily.

Before losing control of his temper, he asked in a rough voice, "In fact, I came to see your sister. Is she here?"

Upon hearing this, not only was Amelia shocked, even Audrey who was waiting aside was in awe.

"What the hell?!

Didn't he say he was here for a blind date? What did this have to do with Brittany? Could it be that Patrick and Brittany had an unknown relationship?

Oh wow! The circle of the nobles are really chaotic!"

No matter how many thoughts Audrey had she knew she had no right to ask.

Amelia froze for a moment, then she quickly regained her composure.

She was well aware that Patrick and Brittany had no dealings or ties with each other. Naturally, she would not have the thoughts Audrey was having.

"You're looking for Brittany?" Amelia asked for confirmation.

Patrick replied with, "Yes."

"Then why did you just say that you were here for a blind date?" Amelia's voice was filled with embarrassment.

What was the point of making a joke like this?

"I was just joking. Who knew you would take it seriously?" Patrick said with a smile while trying to hold back his anger.

Amelia looked at him coldly and gave him an attitude that was way worse than before. "Patrick! I don't have time to play games with you! Brittany is at home. You can go and find her after you register with the guard. And by the way, let go..."

Patrick interrupted her and said, "Aren't you going to ask me why am I here for her?"

Amelia said disdainfully, "Well that's her business and it has nothing to do with me, same goes for you!"

Patrick opened his mouth and said, "Nope, on the contrary, this has everything to do with you."

Amelia's expression immediately darkened.

It occurred to her that she had bumped into Brittany in the corridor one day before. At that moment, she was carrying a medicine bag in her hand.

The next day, Patrick appeared. Was it a coincidence, or...?

Perhaps the anxiety in her heart was too obvious.

Patrick then said, "So now you know that the problem is with you?"

Seeing that he was being so firm, Amelia was getting shaken.

She turned and said to Audrey, "Audrey, please wait for me in the car."

"Sure." Audrey nodded her head and went into the car.

Amelia restrained the urge to facepalm herself and said, "Wait, how do you know what I am thinking?"

"You fool, we've been living under the same roof for so long, how could I not know what you're thinking?"

Patrick muttered to himself and said slowly, "Instead of discussing this with me, don't you think you should focus more on how to explain this to gramps?"

"That's true." Amelia organized her words in her mind and said carefully, "In fact, it's a big deal and not really a big deal at the same time..."

Patrick then said in a calm and threatening tone, "Who said that it wasn't a big deal? After gramps hear about what happened, he was very mad."

"No way?" Hearing this, Amelia began to think, "Are you sure, you're not lying?"

Patrick glanced at her and said, "I don't need to lie to you, I'm not getting any benefits by doing so."

Hearing that, Amelia felt uncomfortable. Did that mean that he would lie if it would benefit him?

Seeing that Patrick was still waiting there, she asked cautiously, "So, what did he say?"

Patrick's face darkened. "Gramps said that this is a big deal, it means that the Ramsay Family didn't treat the Hopper Family as an equal."

Amelia's expression changed dramatically. She explained anxiously, "Gramps is overly exaggerating! We definitely didn't mean that!"

"But in my opinion, that's what the Ramsay Family means! Otherwise, why would Brittany tear up the agreement?" Patrick interrupted Amelia.

Brittany was short-tempered and reckless. She thought that she would be tearing up Amelia's hope if she destroyed the inheritance agreement, but in fact, that was not the case.

She had told Brittany to stop not because she cared about the agreement, if the agreement was torn or broken, they could print another agreement or remake it some other day as long as Howard was willing to.

The real reason why she asked Brittany to stop was that Brittany had never thought about it. What she did was going against the authority of the Hopper Family!
