As soon as Patrick heard Amelia's question, he said calmly, "The old man is here, so I came to have a look."

"Oh?" Amelia was suspicious. "But I remember that Gramps's ward is not in this area."

Patrick held her arm tighter and said rudely, "Aren't you the same! You've looked after Shawn for the whole afternoon feeding him lunch and sending him towels. Did you act like a director? Those who didn't know would have thought that the two of you were lovers!"

Amelia looked at him strangely. "Wait, how did you know I fed Shawn lunch and sent him a towel?"

Patrick was speechless as he his sharp eyes trembled.

Amelia said, "Oh, I think you aren't just walking around. Did you actually peep at the door of the

ward? Are you a p*rvert?"

Patrick's face changed upon hearing her words. He became embarrassed!

The woman had not behaved herself yet she turned to criticise him being a p*rvert!

She was almost ruined by two beasts the previous night! Yet she could stay with an adult man who was in his puberty without any psychological burden, not to mention that he had lived in the army all year round without approaching women. If he did not watch her there, the consequences would be unimaginable!

At this moment, a nurse who was in charge of checking the room passed by with a file in her arms...

When she saw Patrick, she asked in surprise, "Hey, sir! Didn't you say that you're here to deliver food half an hour ago? Why haven't you go in?"

Patrick's face turned pale as he noticed Amelia’s suspicious gaze. "When did I say I'm here to deliver food?"
