Come To Me (Amelia and Patrick) novel Chapter 1296

Amelia felt embarrassed by his sarcasm and said. "I'm just concerned. Why do you have to speak so rudely? You said that I looked at you like you're dead. Why are you cursing yourself? Take back your words!"

Amelia's words left a warm fuzzy feeling in Patrick's heart, and he looked at her gently. "Then give me a massage if you really care about me."

The wound of Patrick was still bleeding, Amelia said anxiously, "I'd better find you a plaster."

Patrick blocked her way and said arrogantly, "Use your hands or take back your concern. Choose one."

"You... How can you be so unreasonable!"

Amelia pressed hard on his wound with some anger. He frowned and winced in pain because of her action.

She cursed secretly to vent her anger, "Serves you right!" Only then did she pull his arm out of the bathroom. She pouted angrily and said, "Wait here, I'll get you a plaster!"

Patrick felt cute by her awkward and intimate expression. He thought that if she could hold him in her hands and live the rest of his life with her...

"I'm back. Please lower your head."

When Amelia came back with the plaster, she found that Patrick looked both yearning and confused. She raised her eyebrows, tore open the plaster, and slapped the plaster on his face.

Patrick came to his senses at once. He covered his face and asked coldly, "You slapped me while I was in a daze, right?"

Amelia looked elsewhere and laughed in silence.

She skillfully helped Patrick get dressed and tied his tie. Half an hour later, Amelia hurriedly said to him, "Mr. Hopper, can we have breakfast now?"

Patrick gave her a lazy look and said, "When did I say I'm having breakfast outside?"

"Then...?"

"You will have to cook for me."

Amelia was stunned for a moment, then said unbearably, "Mr. Hopper, you have me by the short hair, aren't you?"

"Yes, so what?" Patrick smiled.

What he wanted to do was to do all the things that he could not enjoy recently!

There was a time when she would cook meals and wait for him to come back from work to fill his stomach. But now, he had to rely on threats and lures to get her doing it!

Amelia, however thought that he was deliberately making trouble for her. "I think Mr. Hopper is treating me as a free nanny!"

Patrick sat on the sofa calmly, "You can refuse to do it, but you know what kind of impact it will have."

Amelia's eyebrows twitched. She gnashed her teeth and said, "Well... It's just breakfast, right? I'll cook it. I assure you, Mr. Hopper will be satisfied with it!"

Patrick smiled and said, "Okay, then please hurry up, Madam Ramsay. I am starving."

Amelia was so angry with the unhurried look on Patrick that she looked at him with anger in her eyes. He looked back at her and said, "It's almost time for court if you don't hurry up. Although it's not important for me, it's consequential to Director Ramsay, isn't it?"

As soon as he finished his words, he saw Amelia turn around and went downstairs. She must be angry because she stepped on the stairs loudly. The languid smile remained on his face.

She looked at the expiry date of the noodles carefully and found that there were still three months from the expiry date. So, she simply poured them into the boiling water, and it was cooked soon.

Patrick appeared behind Amelia without her noticing, and Rick ate the premium dog food imported from the UK. When Rick saw Patrick, she wanted to bark, but Patrick's gesture stopped her.

Rick smacked her lips and then lowered her head to continue eating.

Amelia, who was unaware of the situation, was cooking the noodles and murmuring that Patrick did not live a life.

Patrick stood not far away, listening. He could not help but cough softly. If he let her go on, even himself would think that he was useless!

Amelia heard the cough coming from behind, and she could not help but be stunned for a moment. Then she realized that she had just complained about him.

She turned around stiffly and met Patrick's face, who was faking an angry face. She said as if nothing had happened, "Well, you came down just in time. We can eat now."

Patrick looked at her for a while with a faint smile. Then he pointed to the two bowls of noodles she was holding and said, "This is our breakfast?"

Amelia explained. "The food in your fridge had spoiled, and I've only found this. That's all I can do."

When she said this, she inevitably felt a little disappointed. The man who was willing to learn cooking from her and help wash dishes not too long ago was degenerating at a terrible speed. Maybe before long, he would become someone she did not know at all.

"I see." Patrick looked as if he just realized it. Even he had forgotten how long it had been since he opened the fridge. No wonder she complained behind his back, "Thank you for your hard work. I know it's hard for a clever woman to cook a meal without rice."

His polite attitude made Amelia could not help but become gentle. "It's okay, just eat it while it's warm."
