Come To Me (Amelia and Patrick) novel Chapter 1358

When Patrick recalled the outrageous experience, he could not help but murmured, "Could there be any other than being crazy?"

Amelia, who was pulling him across the road, could not help but looked back at him when she heard it. "Mr. Hopper, who's crazy?"

Patrick looked at the young lady beside him.

He regained his joy after noticing that the invisible gap between them had disappeared.

Hence, a charming smile appeared on his handsome face then he said, "Mrs. Hopper, I... be careful!"

He was about to express his love, but stopped when he saw a motorcycle whizzing by Amelia. Patrick quickly wrapped around her shoulder to drag her back and eventually avoided the motorcycle that had almost hit her.

The motorcyclist hurriedly took a look back. Since there was no accident, he made a "sorry" gesture with his fingers, and then whizzed away.

After glancing coldly at the number plate of the motorcycle, Patrick turned back and looked at the young lady who was panting in his arms. He asked anxiously, "Are you okay?"

After Amelia calmed down, she raised up her head and attentively looked at him up and down. "I'm fine. What about you?"

After Patrick loosened her, he raised his hand to tuck her messy hair behind her ear. He then said with a focused gaze, "I'm fine too. Let's go."

"Okay." After crossing the road, Amelia remembered something and asked, "Oh, what did you want to say to me just now?"

Patrick's jaw tightened. He ground his lips and said gloomily, "I forgot."

He had finally made up his mind and gathered his courage, but it was all destroyed by the careless motorcyclist.

The cake shop was just at arm's length from Amelia. She could even see the dazzling cakes inside through the glass window in front of her.

Amelia had not looked deep

into Patrick's expression as all her thoughts were on the cake shop. "Oh, then just forget it. Food is the most important anyway!"

He was really defeated by her!

At the moment, even if he turned her little face over and said 'I love you' sincerely, she would probably see him as an annoying fly and shoo him away.

When they entered the cake shop, a tall waiter immediately came up and handed them a plate and a tong each. He then left to serve the other guests.

It seemed that they could just pick up whatever they liked and then pay the bill at the counter.

"It has saved a lot of trouble in ordering, but aren't they worried that the guests will secretly sneak the cake away?" Amelia asked because she had seen such situation in Jessica's cafe.

"If the thief got caught, it would be shown in his personal credibility records. About the following consequences, I don't think you need me to explain." Patrick gave her a "you knew it" look.

Amelia nodded and said slyly, "You're so knowledgeable. You must have similar experiences when you studied abroad previously?"

The joke in her words was obvious. Patrick rubbed her nose and followed her manner of speaking, "Yes, that's why I can't stay abroad and could only return home. Then I met a female drunkard who r*ped me all night."

"Screw you!" Amelia cursed. "You make it sound like you didn't take any advantage of me. I've felt like my waist was going to break when I woke up the next day."

Patrick's eyes widened. "Mrs. Hopper, are you sure you want to talk about this with me outside?"

When Amelia saw Patrick's smiling face, she immediately held in the anger she was about to vent.

She had also resisted the urge to snatch back the cakes from his plate. After Amelia sat down, she replied him with a normal expression. "Let's dig in."

At that moment, Amelia was obviously holding her anger, Patrick smiled with interest and asked as to cotton up with her, "Mrs. Hopper, what did you pick?" "This is a cheese cake, and this is..." Amelia took a closer look. When she saw a poop-shaped cake on her plate, she suddenly got speechless and could not continue with her introduction.

Patrick had seen it as well. The smile on his face grew bigger while he teased in a deep voice, "Mrs. Hopper, I've never known you have such a taste."

At the moment, the waiter was serving him with a cup of fresh-brewed coffee.

Patrick took it over and gently blew it while waiting for Amelia's interesting reaction.

"I was so pissed off by you that I've picked it by accident!"

Amelia held back the urge to flip the table over.

She pushed the plate to Patrick gloomily. "Hey, this 'poop' is for you."

Patrick choked and almost blew the coffee out of his cup.

Amelia did not only gave away the 'poop', but also had her mind set on the cakes in Patrick's plate, "Well, to be fair, since I've given you the 'poop cake', what will you give me in return?"

Patrick regained his composure and asked with a smile, "How about I pick a 'toilet bowl cake' for you?"
