After Amelia took a glance at Sawyer as he walked to the door, Amelia seized the opportunity to head upstairs, as there was no need for her to get involved in their matters.

As soon as he opened the door, he saw two unexpected guests. It was Ryan Quartley and Ruth Anderson!

"Dad? Mom?"

With the puzzled look on Sawyer's face, Ryan continued, "You sent us a text message last night saying that Abner had a high fever and that he wanted to see us. That's why we got up early in the morning and rushed here! How is Abner doing now? Has he gotten better?"

While Sawyer listened to Ryan questions, Sawyer's brows knitted tighter.

When did he text his parents the previous night?

Why did he not have any recollection of it! Unless, someone had messed with his phone! But, he had always taken his phone with him except when he went to his room to sleep.

Wait. Back in his room? To sleep?

A small figure popped into Sawyer's mind, which caused his mood to descend in the dumps.

Who would have thought that the child, who had always been obedient to him, would do such a thing for Amelia's sake!

Not only did Abner steal Sawyer's phone, he even accurately revealed their villa number in the message. Otherwise, Ryan and Ruth would not have been able to find them!
