Come To Me (Amelia and Patrick) novel Chapter 1456

Sissi was struck speechless by Sawyer's question.

What idea could she have? This was not her territory. To be exact, she did not even have the chance to figure out the structure of this island, so how could she pull any trick such as setting up traps and ambushing?

However, watching Patrick and Amelia as they left so easily enraged Sissi to the point where she could have imploded!

She was so eager to make Patrick feel sorry for what he had done to her!

However, at this moment, when Sawyer wanted her to come up with an idea, she was immediately dumbfounded.

It had always been the people around her that helped her out with the vicious ideas, so how could she think of an idea so suddenly?

With Sissi's face that looked like she was at a loss, Sawyer suddenly spoke, "If they run into an accident when they're out at the sea and get buried in the ocean bed, do you think that will work?"

Sissi gasped. "Isn't... isn't that too much?"

"Too much?" Sawyer pondered with these two words, and his expression looked extremely innocent. "Didn't you say we can't let them go this easily?"

Sissi was dumbstruck.

Yes, she had said so. But, she just wanted to give Patrick a lesson and revenge for his disregard for her. She never thought about letting them die!

Patrick had always been good to her. He had saved her life and protected her countless times. She could not do such a thing to him.

"Dear, didn't you say you want Amelia dead? Now's a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. Why don't we get rid of them together, hm?" said Sawyer agitatedly, gesturing a sign of taking action.

Sissi was shocked and hurriedly replied, "Sawyer, I... I'm just kidding! Think about it. If something happens to them in the vicinity of the island, people will suspect you. We'll make another plan when we have a chance in the future!"

"Oh?" Sawyer replied, seemingly moved. "My dear, you're so considerate. All right then, I won't bother them today."

"Haha." Sissi forced an awkward chuckle and felt embarrassed for her contradicting opinions.

Outside the villa.

As Amelia looked out at the vast sky in front of her, she felt relaxed and took a deep breath.

The evening breeze was blowing gently, causing her long hair to billow in the wind. Her white dress fluttered, giving her a temperament of the epitome of freedom.

Seeing her, Patrick could not help but hold her by her waist and locked her in his arms.

Amelia's head bumped into his chest, and she asked in surprise, "What's wrong?"

Patrick lowered his head and kissed her hair, saying, "Nothing, I just want to hug you."

Amelia chuckled. "If you want to hug me, you can hug me all you want at home. For now, let's leave quickly."

"There's no rush. Sawyer won't dare to do anything to us," said Patrick.

"Hmm? Did you prepare any hidden moves?" Amelia asked.

"No, I came alone."

Patrick whispered that in Amelia's ear because his sharp eyes discovered that Sawyer's people were lurking in hiding nearby.

"Ah? You came alone?" His answer was beyond Amelia's expectations.

But, Patrick calmly affirmed a 'yes' in her ear.

Amelia widened her eyes in shock. "Do you know how dangerous this is? Sawyer can kill you at any time!"

Patrick explained in a soft voice, "Mrs. Hopper, I've made an agreement with Sawyer. If I don't do this, I'm afraid you'll be in danger."

Amelia was feeling anxious. "But..."

Before Gramps retired, he was the head of the army. After his retirement, he had trained many cadre soldiers.

As long as Gramps Hopper called for them, they would definitely send troops to help.

"No wonder you're not in a hurry to leave this place," Amelia exclaimed in admiration.

"I'm not in a hurry to leave because the more leisurely I act, the more Sawyer will think that I have a backup plan."

Patrick smiled at Amelia and said, "Okay, just let Sawyer continue to be suspicious. It's time to go, Mrs. Hopper." "Oh, okay!" Amelia replied in a slight daze.

As they walked, Amelia saw a helicopter parked on the shore.

She had not noticed it from a distance, but when she came closer, she found that the plane was fiery red and the wings were ink black, looking mighty and domineering.

But, why was there no one in the cockpit?

There could be only one explanation.

Amelia wanted to turn and ask Patrick when he came behind her and told her, "Don't move." Then, he put his hands on the sides of her waist and lifted her onto the cabin of the chopper.

Amelia only needed to bend her body to climb into the cabin.

It was her first time in a helicopter, so she was a little nervous.

Patrick could not help but smile when he saw Amelia was too jittery to move. He said, "I'll be right there."

As he spoke, he quickly climbed into the cabin. His movements were so suave that Amelia thought momentarily that she was watching a documentary.

At the same time, Patrick had fastened the seat belt for her.

After that, he began to fiddle with the apparatus in front of him.
