Eve's expression changed drastically. She could tell that Patrick was not joking when he said that as his eyes were full of determination!

How could her son whom she was the proudest of in her life break up with her for a woman?!

Eve's voice tightened, "Are you planning to get back with her so you let her live on the Land of Fragrance?"

Patrick's lips curled up into a smile, and he looked yearning for such. "Yes, I will even propose to her, hold a wedding with her, and make her the happiest bride."

Eve reminded stiffly, "Don't you forget, you're still dating Kayla!"

Patrick said with an unchanging smile, "It's been so long. Haven't you realized that I haven't contacted Kayla for a long time? From the day I agreed to have a blind date with her, I was just acting. I have no interest in her at all."

Eve's mind went blank again. "You're making a fool on her! Have you thought about the consequences if her parents find out about it?"

"A fool?" Patrick raised his eyebrows and his tone became dramatic, "How do you know if she's not cooperating with my act?"
