Come To Me (Amelia and Patrick) novel Chapter 1666

Jewelry?

While Amelia appeared to be slightly shocked, Alice explained softly, "It's your big day today. I have prepared the bridal accessories for you in advance, wanting to see you off in your most gorgeous state."

"Thank you, Aunt Alice." Amelia was touched.

After asking the servants to send over the sets of jewelry, Alice opened the jewelry box, revealing the shiny diamond jewelry inside.

"Although gold is valuable, it might seem vulgar. As for jade, I feel that it is not suitable for your age. So after all the consideration, I ordered jewelry made of diamonds and gems for you. I hope you like it."

Alice personally put a crown full of diamonds on Amelia's head, followed by a gem necklace, two bracelets, and a pair of royal blue earrings.

After all this, Alice put her hand gently on Amelia's shoulder. Looking at her in the mirror, she sincerely praised, "My daughter, you are so beautiful."

Amelia looked at herself in the mirror, thinking that even Brittany had not had so many accessories when she got married.

"Would they not spend you too much money?" She could not help asking.

"Amelia, you deserved the best. Besides, I don't want the outsiders to think that you're any different from before."

Amelia slightly narrowed her eyes. She was really worried that she was not worthy of these accessories sent by Alice, since she was an adopted child. But Alice had wanted to take the opportunity to tell everyone that her identity as an orphan would not change her position in The Ramsay Family.

Alice then took the crown off Amelia and carefully placed it on the dressing table. "Amelia, you've tried it well. It's time to put on your makeup."

"Okay." Amelia sat in front of the dressing table while the makeup artists Alice hired helped with her hairstyle and makeup.

Meanwhile, Alice left Amelia's room to take care of something else.

Marriage was naturally a happy event. Although the joy had been weakened a little by Amelia's identity as an adopted child, many of The Ramsay Family members who received the invitation from Alice had shown up. After all, it was an opportunity to get close to The Hopper Family.

Looking at the crowded living room in no time, Alice promptly ordered the servants to serve the guests downstairs. While she took the time to call the driver who went to the hospital to pick up George. She asked him not to send George in after he arrived. After all, the noisy surrounding was detrimental to the patient's mood.

Soon after, several bridesmaids appeared in the living room one after another and were immediately seen by Alice, who was on the second floor.

Alice asked the servant to invite them up. After some introductions, the bridesmaids included Audrey of the Apex Construction Corporation, and Doris of the Roxxon Group. The remaining three were Amelia's schoolmates, one of whom was Kimberley who had attended the same high school with Amelia. When they learned that Amelia was going to get married, they all declared that they would be her bridesmaids to share the happiness. Since Amelia had been close with them back then, she eventually agreed.

Patrick's secretary had also come. But after her consideration, she did not apply to be a bridesmaid. After all, she was different from Florence, who could leave unscathed after causing trouble to the boss.

At the moment, the secretary was socialising among the guests. With her identity as the chief secretary of Patrick, she proudly chatted with them.

While the bridesmaids gathered next to Alice and asked excitedly, "Aunt Alice, where is Amelia?"

Alice pointed to the room behind her and blinked at them. "Amelia is putting on makeup. Do you want to go in and have a look?"

"Can we?" The ladies were overwhelmed with curiosity.

Alice elegantly let out a laugh and said, "Go ahead."

So the ladies hustled to the door of Amelia's room. Finally, it was Audrey who knocked on the door.

Moments later, the door opened.

There was a woman in a wedding dress sitting on the chair with her back to them. Next to her was a fashionable woman who held a eyelash brush in her hand. While the woman who opened the door for them was walking back, holding a bottle of hair spray in her hand.

Audrey called out softly,"... Director Ramsay?"

Amelia, who had her eyelashes being brushed by the stylist, subconsciously wanted to open her eyes after she heard the call. But she was stopped by the stylist in front of her, "Don't move!"

Amelia could feel the brush moving back and forth in front of her eyes. In order not to ruin her eye makeup, she could only keep her eyes closed. She answered by feeling, "Is it Audrey?"

"It's me!" Audrey replied. She then looked at the companions around her and added, "The other bridesmaids have also arrived."

The ladies immediately chimed in, "Amelia."

Amelia distinguished them by their voices with her eyes closed. "All of you have arrived? I don't need to further introduce you guys, do I?"

"Well, we have introduced each other. Amelia, you are really..."

Doris had been talking while walking. But when she saw clearly the entire fit of Amelia, her mind was only full of "F*cking goddess!".

During the period, the other bridesmaids also approached and saw the front of Amelia, which made them gasp.

They knew that Amelia had good looks, but they had not expected that her looks could even make women's hearts race!

A moment later, Doris said, "I kind of want to snatch Mr. Hopper's wife."

"Me too..." "Count me in."

"I think we should worry about ourselves instead." Another bridesmaid said, "Since Amelia is crazily beautiful, will us be noticed later?"

Audrey could not help glancing her sideways and said, "It seems that you're not aware of such situation being normal. While I have been used to it already. Every time Director Ramsay is here, others would only serve as her background."

The grand wedding car stopped at the gate of The Ramsay's residence. Patrick got off the car first and called the head of the jewelry company to walk with him in front of the others.

Florence, who was squeezed behind, could not help but mutter, "I don't know why, but I keep on feeling like Patrick is here to save the bride."

The two little fellows Andrew and Ashley, who were also falling behind given their pace, agreed, "Yes, uncle is super aggressive!"

"I'm not praising him!" Florence pursed her lips gloomily. She was obviously still hating Patrick for not telling her in advance about Amelia's return to The Ramsay's.

Patrick came to the gate of the villa to find it blocked by relatives and friends of The Ramsay Family.

He did not play dumb as well. He immediately ordered his team to take out candies and red packets, allowing him to successfully pass the first test.

Then, he stood in the living room and looked up, only to see Alice and the bridesmaids standing in the corridor on the second floor.

When they saw that he was looking over, they even waved at him.

While waving her hand, Doris could not help saying, "Oh my God, although I have the opportunity to see Mr. Hopper at work every day, I have to say that Mr. Hopper is particularly attractive today!"

"Yeah, look at his legs! They still look so long from above!"

"Alright ladies, the groom is coming up." Alice reminded.

Patrick, who was downstairs, had already deduced the specific location of Amelia. He turned to the head of the jewelry company and said, "You follow me upstairs while the rest stay."

"Patrick, don't you need us to accompany you?" Owen had been married and was experienced. He knew that it was not an easy task to pass the second test to take the bride away.

"No." Patrick glanced at the two silver boxes in the hands of head of the jewelry company and said confidently, "I'm fine with them."

As for Alice and the bridesmaids upstairs, they all looked surprised when they saw that Patrick had only brought a person they had never met.

"To take the bride away by only two persons?"

"Isn't he looking down on us too much?"

"No, no matter how handsome Mr. Hopper is, I have to teach him a lesson."

"Doris, don't forget that you are an employee of Roxxon Corporation. Aren't you afraid..."

"No worries, Mr. Hopper is not such a petty person. Besides, we still have Amelia to back us up. Sisters, let's fight!"
