Come To Me (Amelia and Patrick) novel Chapter 1679

As soon as she woke up, Amelia found that her northern- style room had become of American-style.

She knew it all thanks to her discussion with Patrick about their house decoration before the wedding.

At the thought of Patrick, Amelia's eyes became teary. She sighed and got up from the new bed, began to look for something...

She found it!

There was also a speaker in the room.

If it was not a coincidence, then she was still in the hands of the same person.

As if responding to her conjecture, the strange voice that she was familiar with came from the speaker. "You're awake?"

Amelia said with mixed feelings, "It's really you!"

"You look very disappointed."

Since the person behind did not have any misfortune, so she was certainly disappointed.

But she would not say as such. She just raised one of her arms, with bruises left by the violent injection.

She said with a wry smile, "Can you stop using the same mean being injection?"

"So what if it's the same mean, as long as it's useful."

"But I'm afraid of pain."

"I just don't want you to hurt yourself while struggling. That will make you feel more pain."

"Oh." It seemed that she had to thank him instead. Amelia frowned while putting her hand on her belly and asked uneasily, "What did you inject me with?"

"Don't worry. It won't affect your child."

Amelia sighed and said, "Thank god."

Then, she glanced around. "The place was changed, right?"

"Uh huh." The person did give any comment.

Amelia rolled her eyes, "Has the original residence been discovered?"

"Heh." The person said meaningfully, "You'd better not know too much, otherwise you will be very disappointed, and even call your sweetheart a good-for-nothing."

You said so to make me ask you, no?

Amelia's lips curled up with a sneer that she thought would not be seen, but she still asked innocently, "I don't understand what you mean.

Can you make it clearer?" "Then just stay ignorant." Sawyer suddenly did not want to tell her the truth as he saw her mocking smile through the monitor.

So Amelia could not help hitting the pillow, as it was the quietest way to vent her anger. She did not want to piss him off.

After a moment of silence, she remembered something and asked, "For the past few days, I've eaten three meals daily, but you were not there at that time. So can I ask you a few more questions now?"

"Haven't I already answered you?"

Amelia was stunned for a moment and then realized what the person was referring to. She could not help being dumbfounded. "Did all those count as well?!"

"Why not? You asked me if I could stop using injections? What I inject into you? And if we have changed to another place? In fact, I may not answer these questions."

Amelia stared at the speaker with a red face, as if it were a living thing, and she was trying to kill it with her eyes!

While before the monitor, Sawyer sipped his coffee gracefully and slowly said, "If you still eat on time today, I may consider continuing to play the Q&A game with you, Miss Question."

"You're Miss Question! No, you Mr. Strange!"

After complaining in her heart, Amelia raised her eyebrows and said, "Okay, promise."

Staring at her beautiful eyes that would shine upon a ray of hope, Sawyer simply could not see her as a 'prisoner'.

Why could she still seek joy in difficulties? Was there nothing else that could make her feel bad except for Patrick?

Sawyer's eyes narrowed as he thought about it. And his evil nature suddenly gave him an interesting idea.

He might have known how to make Amelia show the response he expected.

Three days later.

Sawyer was looking through the documents sent over by his subordinate. He lightly shook his fingers which were holding a cigarette and the ashes fell on his expensive trousers, but he did not notice it at all.

After a long time, Sawyer finally asked in a very deep tone, "Are you sure these are all true?"

The subordinate replied, "Yes, it's absolutely true."

"Look, you're nervous again." Sawyer bent over and picked up the English teapot with red azalea and blue butterflies embroidered from the tea table. He personally filled a cup of black tea.

Savannah felt unreal when she saw the black tea with a warm luster moving towards her, but she could not bear to turn her eyes away for any

second.

Until the voice of Sawyer sounded again, "Would you like to add brown sugar?"

Looking up, Savannah was stunned with no reply for a moment after she saw the smile on Sawyer's face.

Thus, Sawyer sat back and crossed his arms, looking at her with a faint smile.

Finally, Savannah realized that she was abnormal and said uneasily, "... Sir, I don't mean to offend you, it's just that I haven't seen you for a long time, so..."

Under Savannah's explanation with embarrassment, Sawyer nodded his head. "There's no need to say sorry, I can understand. How's it going at home?"

Savannah sat upright, looked down and reported respectfully, "The hospital is still under renovation. It had been fine back there, but since Miss Amelia Ramsay went missing, the police often come for investigation. They even said..."

Sawyer crossed his legs and asked calmly, "What did they say?"

Savannah bit her lower lip and said angrily, "The useless police claimed that Miss Amelia Ramsay's disappearance had something to do with you! But how is that possible? Miss Amelia

Ramsay has visited Streams Villa many times, while Sir has been treating her politely. The police has clearly failed to find the true criminal, so they took the one who had a grudge against Patrick as a scapegoat!"

Sawyer could not help but say as he saw that she was getting more agitated as she spoke, "The tea is getting cold."

Savannah picked up the teacup almost immediately and drank the tea.

After she carefully put down the teacup, Sawyer thought that she should have calmed down so he said, "Savannah, I have something to ask you."

Savannah hurriedly said, "Please."

After sweeping his gaze across the documents beside him, Sawyer looked at her again, "Have you heard of Kindness Orphanage?"

"Kindness Orphanage?" Savannah was stunned and shook her head, "Sir, I've never heard of this place."

Sawyer looked at her expression with full focus for a while, then asked, "Savannah, I remember you having two children, a daughter and a son, right?"

Although he asked casually, Savannah's face froze. She bowed her head again and fiddled with her fingers behind the luggage bag. "Yes, I have two children... but they both had a bad life. The elder one was a girl. I once took her out when she was still little. But she was taken away when I lost attention. The younger one was a boy. While in his second grade of primary school, he had a car accident and had an amputation below his knees..."

As she spoke, Savannah could not help sobbing, "I am really sorry for the two! If I paid more attention to my daughter and went to fetch my son every day, they would not have such accidents!"
