He was going back to exercise!
Amelia became nervous as she heard this. "What, what's wrong with you? Sit down!"
She pulled him to the bed and reached out to touch his forehead. "You're not feeling well. You'd better lie down before you go back."
"Don't bother." Patrick grabbed her hand that measuring his temperature. "I'll be fine when I get home."
"Mr. Hopper, don't pretend to be strong. Lie down!" Amelia withdrew her hand from his palm and held his shoulders, trying to let him sleep.
"Amy, I'm not trying to be tough. I think my home bed is more comfortable and I can't sleep here." Patrick was lying with his eyes wide open.
"Re-really?" Amelia was too anxious to speak fluently.
"Yes, so we should go back as soon as possible." Patrick said seriously.
Amelia thought for a moment and said, "I'll drive then."
Patrick did not expect that she would not even let him drive. He was joy and sorrow.
What he was happy about was how important he was for her, and what he was worried about was that she was pregnant. What if... bah! What a jinx!
Fortunately, he soon thought of a perfect solution. "How about this, Amy? I'll ask the driver to drive us home."
Amelia had no objection to this.
Then, she tidied herself up as quickly as possible and helped Patrick out of the bedroom.
Patrick unconsciously put her in his arms and was unwilling to press on her.
In the living room.
"Grandpa, grandma, Mr. Hopper..." Amelia was about to say that he was not feeling well.
However, Patrick interrupted her with a faster pace, "I have something else to do in my company. I want to take Amy back."
Amelia subconsciously looked at him as she heard this. She found that his back was straight, probably because he didn't want others to know that he was uncomfortable and pretended to be strong... So she didn't expose him.
Granny Hopper said reluctantly, "Patrick, if you have something to do, you can deal with it yourself. Let Amelia stay."
" ." Patrick could only glance at Amelia
Ramsay.
Since Amelia was worried about Patrick Hopper's body, how could she agree? "Grandma, I won't stay today. I'll come to accompany you another day, okay?"
Gramps Hopper snorted, "You said he was here to keep us company. But... Hmm!"
It turned out that Granny Hopper pinched him hard.
The next second, Granny Hopper said to Amelia Ramsay kindly, "Fine. Since that's the case, Grandma won't force you. Remember to come here often when you're free."
"Mmhm! Grandma, don't worry, I will!"
Now that there were no longer Eve that hated her in the Hopper Mansion, she was happy to come.
Gramps Hopper asked Granny Hopper awkwardly as he saw his grandson and granddaughter- in- law left him, "Didn't you want Amelia to stay? Why do you pinch me?"
Granny Hopper took a sip of tea slowly and said, "Your way of speaking is too bad. It's like giving orders. Didn't you see that Patrick's face changed?"
"Why should I look at him? I'm his grandfather!"
"It's no use even if you are the emperor. Amelia is Patrick's wife. How can we rob his wife?"
"Then how could he bring his wife back to his room at noon to sleep?" Gramps Hopper asked in a rather sad tone.
"But..." Amelia looked at his shirt, which was soaked with sweat, and said, "I am afraid that you are going too far."
"How could it be?" Patrick panted as he ran. "Exercise is good for physical fitness."
"But I don't think you are like this before." Amelia asked in puzzlement, "Besides, don't you go swimming every morning?"
Patrick said, "Just swimming is not enough, far from enough."
The corners of Amelia's mouth twitched. "Are you serious?"
"Yes!" Patrick's gaze was firm.
"Are you going to train like this every day?"
Patrick thought for a moment and said, "I may not have so much time since I have to go to work in the future, but I will still take as many hours of exercise as possible at night.”
Amelia was stunned and asked, "Then are you still swimming in the morning?"
Patrick replied with ease, "Yeah. Why not? "
No one knew what she thought of, but Amelia suddenly felt great pressure. She blurted out, "In fact, I think you have a good figure now. You don't need to exercise for so long!"
Even with his strength and energy, she couldn't take it. If he trained his body to a higher level, she would be tortured even more by him.
Patrick couldn't help laughing as he heard Amelia praised his good physique. But then, Owen's "flabby muscles" jumped out again, making him stop laughing. He said seriously, "Amy, I have to exercise to maintain my body. What if my muscle is loose when I'm old?"
" He seemed to be very old.
"It doesn’t matter if your muscle loose. Anyway, when your muscles collapse, I'm already old," Amelia said.
Patrick shook his head. "No, I'm older than you. I get older faster than you do, so I can't get rid of exercise."
