Come To Me (Amelia and Patrick) novel Chapter 1816

"Miss Maryanne Smith, please." Jarvy placed one hand behind his back, while the other hand was moving towards Maryanne, who was inside the car. She was smiling in a refined manner, but she was sure to win.

Maryanne did not like him to look at her as if he was a prey, but she could not find a mistake in his actions now. She could only gently place her gloved right hand in his palm before stepping out.

Jarvy took the opportunity to use inward strength, and Maryanne immediately rushed into his arms.

As a result, it was he who picked her up.

"Be careful, Maryanne." Jarvy whispered in Maryanne's ear with a sexy and deliberately inappropriate voice.

The next second, he withdrew his hand from Maryanne's waist. He looked like a gentleman as he helped her up and smiled at her.

Maryanne could not lose her composure in public, so she forced a smile and said, "I prefer Mr. Tomson calling me Miss Maryanne Smith.”

Her words immediately put out the fire in him!

But Jarvy still teased her calmly, "There are many 'Miss Maryanne Smith' in the world, but 'Maryanne' is the only one."

Maryanne was just about to sneer when a reporter carrying a bunch of equipment ran over to them. After a short while, they were surrounded by the reporters.

"Mr. Tomson, it's said that your company has recently filmed a popular idol drama adapted from the IP series, as well as a movie with a large number of actors and actresses. Is this true?"

Out of the corner of his eye, he saw Maryanne trying to take advantage of the chaos to sneak away. Jarvy held her right hand tightly in his palm without thinking. He answered the reporter's question with a straight face, "Correct. Tonight's movie and television broadcast will be held, and officials will announce the main roles of these two plays. Everyone, please wait and see."

The reporter then asked a few questions that he wanted to ask in advance. After receiving Jarvy's reply, the reporter focused his gaze on Maryanne's face beside him. "Mr. Tomson, who is this?”

Jarvy gave Maryanne a sidelong glance before announcing to the reporters, "She's my girlfriend."

As soon as he finished speaking, there was a burst of "crack crack" sound on the scene. It was a piece of news of the entertainment company's CEO, which was very rare!

"Jarvy!" Maryanne, who was photographed by the reporters, raised her voice so hard that her eyes were almost spitting fire.

Seeing that Maryanne was about to fall out with him in public, Jarvy immediately changed the topic and said, "I’m just kidding? This is the daughter of the Home of Smith, as well as my female companion who I have invited tonight."

Hearing this, the reporters all showed an expression of "we understand".

Maryanne broke free from Jarvy's grip and said coldly, "Everything is as Mr. Tomson said. I'm just his female companion tonight. Don't write nonsense!"

The reporters' expressions suddenly became a bit weird. Logically speaking, Jarvy dared to say that the woman was his girlfriend in front of them, which meant that he was not afraid of their writing.

The woman's attitude was somewhat subtle. Should they interpret it as that she and Jarvy were not a couple, or that she was unwilling to show her love in front of the media?

After all, some rich girls' thoughts were very conservative, and they would not even appear in gossip entertainment scenes once in their lifetime.

Seeing that the atmosphere was slightly frozen, Jarvy opened his mouth and said, "Forgive me for being bold earlier, but I am indeed pursuing Miss Maryanne Smith. I hope that one day, Maryanne, you will be able to accept me."

The first half of the sentence was for the reporters, while the second half was for Maryanne.

As for Jarvy's love confession, it was instantly recorded by reporters on camera.

"That's great!"

It seemed that their news could go from "Mr. Tomson announce his love" to "Mr. Tomson publicly courted love"!

No matter which one it was, they were all very popular!

Maryanne was not as experienced as Jarvy, and she thought that she had escaped.

However, they didn't know that the reporters were most exaggerating. They could even imagine a TV series with a simple sentence, not to mention the words with which Jarvy was pointing.

As soon as the news came out tomorrow, the name "Maryanne" would be connected with "Jarvy " and could not be gotten rid of easily.

Seeing his goal achieved, Jarvy smiled more deeply and said, "All right, everybody. It's almost time. Please come with us.”

As a result, the reporters surrounded Jarvy and Maryanne. Along the way, they took photos. Some of them even wanted to dig something out from Maryanne's mouth. They were a nuisance to her.

Jarvy did not mind being more intimate with Maryanne in front of the reporters. He saw one hand quietly pass behind her and finally fall on her waist.

From the point of view of reporters, Jarvy seemed to be protecting Maryanne, so as not to be squeezed by others.

Maryanne was so annoyed. She caught a glimpse of the hand on her waist out of the corner of her eye. She could not help glaring at Jarvy, "Mr. Tomson!"

"Hmm?" Jarvy replied.

Maryanne warned unceremoniously, "Keep your hand away from me!"

Hearing that, Jarvy looked at her helplessly and said, "Maryanne, I don't think I've touched you, have I?"

His hands were indeed not wrapped around hers, but it still made Maryanne feel uncomfortable.

She could not help but take two steps forward to get rid of Jarvy's hand.

After her eyes darkened slightly, Jarvy followed her and lowered his head to ask her in a low voice, "Maryanne, you walked so fast. Do you know where the exhibition hall is?"

Maryanne paused and turned to glare at him angrily.

Jarvy measured her face with his eyes. "It's not good to use such a beautiful pair of eyes to stare at people."

Compared with staring at others, he would like to see what she would look like crying on the bed...

The scene of Maryanne and her own boss appearing together shocked the artists in the company-

"Are you saying that there is no fate between

US?"

"That's right."

"Then who are you fated with? Mr. Hemwerth? Mr. Carlson or Mr. Ronald?"

Hearing this, Maryanne looked at him quizzically. "Why can I only be fated to you people?"

Jarvy's heart skipped a beat. "Because I heard from your brother that you are very close to the four of us recently."

"So, must I like anyone out of the four of you?

You are too confident, Jarvy."

Maryanne vented her displeasure by addressing his name, but it gave Jarvy a different feeling.

He tilted his head to look into her watery eyes and said word by word, ”1 hope one day I can hear the word 'Jarvy' from your mouth."

Dream on!

Maryanne thought to herself.

At ten o'clock in the evening, the film and television activities held by Jarvy's company ended with applause.

After that, Jarvy was going to take his actors and actresses in the movie and television series to have a celebratory feast.

When he asked Maryanne, she rejected, "No, it's too late. I just sent a message to ask my brother to pick me up."

"Too late?" It must be known that Maryanne used to hangout in the nightclub. He really did not know what had changed her.

Seeing her little face lack of interest, Jarvy felt somewhat regretful in his heart. At first, he intended to let her know his ability tonight, worship him, and be obsessed with him. However, even though he had been busy for a long time, she still took home as her first priority.

After a wry smile, Jarvy waved his hand at the surrounding onlookers and told them to leave first. He then accompanied Maryanne and waited for Hobart downstairs to pick her up.

After a while, a fancy sports car stopped in front of Maryanne.

Seeing this, Maryanne heaved a sigh of relief. She turned around and said to Jarvy, "I'm leaving." Then, she got into the car.

Although Maryanne was ruthless, Hobart was very conscious. He lowered the window and smiled at Jarvy. "Mr. Tomson, thank you for taking care of Maryanne tonight. I'll treat you to a meal some other day."

Just as Jarvy was worrying that he would not have the chance to get close to Maryanne, he immediately agreed upon hearing this.
