Come To Me (Amelia and Patrick) novel Chapter 1951

Patrick said to his secretary, "Take me to see them."

Kaiden stood up with a swoosh. "I want to go too!"

"Don't go," Patrick said.

Kaiden was stunned and then realized that Patrick might have a meeting with those masters. Maybe it was confidential. So he changed his words. "Then I won't go."

In the end, he said with concern, "Hey, remember to be nice. These masters have their own temper. If you make them angry, you will regret it!"

This was not because of his concern for Patrick, but because he wanted to find a chance to communicate with the masters. If Patrick pissed them off, he would lose the opportunity to improve himself.

"If I piss them off, won't your design going to come in handy?" Patrick said as he gestured to the secretary, "Bring along his design as well."

"Yes." The secretary responded and came over to take the design on Kaiden's table.

Kaiden subconsciously reached out his hand to block it, and asked with some confusion, "Why do you want to take my design drawing with you to meet the masters?"

"Because I want to know how they evaluate your design." Patrick raised his eyebrows and said, "What if there is still hope?"

Kaiden gnashed his teeth. "You really won't let go of any chance to humiliate me!"

If Patrick showed his design to those masters, it would mean that he had another reason to ridicule him!

"So what?" Patrick smiled and led the secretary who got the design drawing away when Kaiden was not paying attention.

In the conference room.

When the secretary pushed the door open, a dozen masters with white beards, glasses, hats, and cigarettes in their mouths, all looked at them.

"This is Mr. Hopper.” The secretary first introduced Patrick.

Since English was the common language of the world, there was no obstacle in communication even if they were of different nationalities.

When the masters saw that Patrick was so young, they found it hard to believe. After all, Roxxon Corporation was a big company, but it was actually led by such a young man. It was really beyond their expectation.

However, they couldn't treat Patrick as a junior, because the momentum emanating from him had silently indicated that he was their employer and they had to follow his orders.

Such an imposing manner made them, who were several dozen years old, involuntarily stand up and shake hands with this overly young man in their eyes.

He then gestured for them to sit down.

Such an ordinary action revealed a strong self-confidence as if he was not worried that they would go against his will at all.

In fact, no one disobeyed his order.

After the masters were seated, Patrick said, "I believe that I have explained the purpose of inviting you here clearly through an email or a phone call.

The reason why all of you are willing to come to my company is probably because you have thought deeply about it or have been provoked. So I will make it short. I need all of you to work together to build an unprecedented project for me. This is the engineering blueprint..."

He took Kaiden's design drawing from the secretary and laid it out in front of the ten masters. "I think five of you have seen this design drawing, right?"

The five masters who had met Kaiden in Jesse Tower nodded.

Patrick pointed at the design drawing and asked, "Tell me the truth. What do you think of its level?"

The five masters from before replied, "Mr.

"If you still can't do it, then forget it. I will ask my secretary to book return tickets for you. I still have something to do, so I have to go first."

Patrick did not give them any time to think. He picked up the design drawing and was about to get up.

"No, no, no —" Finally, a master came to his senses and said, "We didn't think that the money is too little. We just thought it is too much. We're afraid that you might not think it's worth it!"

Patrick said in a gentle tone, "I know. It's unworthy of you to be assistants. I want to make amends to you by giving you the extra commission. I hope that there will be pleasant cooperation."

The masters did not lose their temper because of Patrick's soft and stubborn attitude, on the other hand, they felt that they owed him a debt of gratitude.

So the following development was completely in line with what Patrick expected. They agreed!

On the way back to the office, the secretary couldn't help asking, "I don't understand why Mr. Hopper takes care of Mr. Wright that

much."

Because he was Amy's cousin, and he had helped her a lot.

Such a reason turned in Patrick's mind and became a light sentence, "He is a rare architectural talent within the country. If he is well trained, he may be among the top of the world one day?"

The secretary worshipped him and said, "You're making preparations for the future, right? If Mr. Wright becomes the top architectural master in the future, he will definitely repay your kindness. He will do his best for Apex Construction Corporation!"

Patrick didn't think about it at all. He just didn't want to owe Kaiden.

But since the secretary had already found a reason for him, he accepted it. "Yes."
