After a moment of silence, only Jarvy's voice slowly sounded, "Everyone, leave her alone. I want to see how long she will act in this show!"
After he finished speaking, he grabbed Maryanne's phone and gave her a hard push, allowing her to fall on the heart- shaped carpet covered with rose petals.
"Jarvy, what are you doing?” Louis asked.
Looking down at Maryanne, who was struggling, Jarvy said with a gentleman's face, "In order to ruin my image in front of you, she pretended to be poisoned by me."
"Well, in order to prove my innocence, I will not be alone with her. Tonight, we have to stay under your eyes. I want you to see if I will do anything to her."
Hearing that, Louis and the rest nodded in support.
Maryanne had to suffer. Her reaction was not a pretended one, but she had been drugged!
If Jarvy took her away, she could try to escape from him.
However, now he wanted to stay with his friends to watch her "performance". There were so many people, and her mobile phone had been taken away by him. It was simply a disaster!
Maryanne climbed up from the carpet before her mind was completely burnt by the fire of desire. The drug had a strong effect and she had to grasp the carpet underneath her. She turned to the man sitting on the couch with much difficulty and said, "Jarvy... return my phone to me!"
"Hmm?" Jarvy said and held the mobile phone more tightly, "Maryanne, don't you like acting? I'll let you act as you please tonight. Don't worry, we are all gentlemen. Even if you take off your clothes, we won't touch you."
A group of men laughed in a low voice. The men's inferior nature made them start to look forward to what would happen next.
Maryanne rubbed the carpet beneath her forcefully with her ten fingers and asked in a pained voice, "How are you going to explain this to my brother?"
"You've made a mistake, haven't you? It should be your brother who has to explain to me." Jarvy put his hands together and put them on his knees, looking calm and composed. "He lied to me and you fooled me. I want to ask him why he has never told me that you have a wound on your hand."
Maryanne's body was warm, but her eyes were cold. "Didn't I... tell you...?"
Jarvy nodded and said, "Yes, you told me that. But you only told me the truth and took off your gloves after I fell in love with you. Isn't it obvious that you cheated on me?"
In the end, he sighed and said, "Even so, I would rather take the risk of being discussed and laughed at by the people around me to make you my girlfriend."
"And how did you treat me? You made me lose face in front of them again and again and demeaned my feelings for you."
"Tonight, I brought you to meet my best friend with the last hope. I thought you would at least save me some face. What happened?"
Jarvy was not speaking all lies. He had indeed been interested in Maryanne before, but later on, she was gradually exhausting his emotions.
After hearing his words, Louis and others felt more sympathetic to him and despised Maryanne.
Maryanne pulled her collar and squeezed out a sentence, "I warned you not to... like me!"
Jarvy chuckled, but his smile did not reach his eyes. "If you don't like me, why did you let me take you to my company and my home? Why did you want to meet my friends?"
Maryanne clenched her fists. She had done all these just to make Jarvy hate her.
Now it seemed that her purpose had been achieved, but he had turned into someone with bad intentions and wanted to take revenge on her.
"Say it!" Jarvy stared at her aggressively.
The tip of the knife was taken back in the next second. Jarvy handed out a hand to her and said with a friendly look, "It's good that you know you are wrong. Get up quickly. Let's cut the cake together."
"The antidote..."
Hearing this, Jarvy took back his hand, and the smile on his face gradually disappeared, "Look, you are talking nonsense again. I have never drugged you. I can't always be wronged like this."
"Jarvy!" Maryanne was so angry that she wanted to bite off a large piece of meat from him!
"Jarvy, what are you doing? Come and cut the cake!" Louis shouted at this moment. He did not want his friend to be soft-hearted to the Demon b*tch!
"Here I come," Jarvy replied. He shook off Maryanne's hand, which was tugging at his pants, and went to cut the cake.
Maryanne turned to look at Jarvy and the others. With a single glance, she quickly retracted her gaze and used her eyes to search the surroundings.
When she found a cell phone in the gap between the sofa, she quickly endured the discomfort and climbed over it.
After taking out the phone, she wanted to call Milton, but the next second, the phone was taken away.
She looked back and saw Louis holding the phone. He said to her, "That was close. You almost got the phone."
"You are... illegally locking me up!"
Louis said, "But we didn't do anything to you. Just like what Jarvy said, we won't touch you. We will record it with our mobile phones at most. What do you think?"
Maryanne was trembling all over. "How dare you! My brother won't... let you go!"
