When Patrick drove to the gate of the police station, the police officer who had contacted him on the phone had been waiting outside for a long time.
As soon as he got out of the car, the police immediately greeted him. “Mr. Patrick, Sir Hopper wants me to wait for you here."
Patrick asked casually, "Where's my brother?"
The police officer replied, “He's on duty with his men.”
Patrick nodded. "Very well. Take me to the suspects then."
"No problem. This way please." After the police officer responded, he walked in front and opened the way for Patrick.
After a while-
The cell door of Sissi was opened, and Patrick walked in. His eyes met hers.
She was awake today and dressed up a little.
In fact, she had just changed into a set of clean prison clothes and combed her hair.
As soon as she saw him come in, Sissi immediately sat down and licked her lips nervously, saying, "You're here?"
"Well, I heard that you want to see me," Patrick replied calmly.
"Yes, I want to talk to you."
Sissi said, pointing to the bed next to her. "Come and sit for a while."
Hearing that, a cold light flashed through Patrick's eyes.
There were no extra chairs in the prison, only a bed, so he couldn't be sure whether Sissi was deliberately seducing him or simply inviting him to have a seat.
"There's no need. I'll just stand there and talk."
He refused.
Sissi looked at him bitterly. "Do you have to stand so far away from me when you talk to me? Can I harm you?"
Patrick stood indifferently. "It's better this way. We already have our own family."
Hearing this, Sissi felt a breath in her chest. After a while, she calmed down and said, "Well, it's up to you. I asked you to come here today because I want to ask... If I promise you to testify against him, what condition can you promise me?"
Patrick was not surprised. "Just tell me what you want. I'll try my best to satisfy you."
"What if I want a lot of money? Will you give it to me?"
Patrick asked, "How much?"
Sissi carefully observed his expression. Seeing that he didn't frown at all, she couldn't help but say bitterly, "I'm really moved by your willingness to give up everything for Amelia. But aren't you afraid that I'll really ask for all your property?"
Patrick looked down at his watch and said, "Just say it. There's no need to beat around the bush."
How long had he been here? Why was he looking at the time impatiently?
Sissi clenched her fists tightly. "I want you to satisfy my needs for the rest of my life, and I want you to help me get rid of my troublesome ex-husband!
"Also, if Sawyer is released one day, you must send someone to protect me! I betrayed him because of you and Amelia. You can't abandon me again!"
After listening to him, Patrick said, "Okay."
"Patrick! You're smiling? You're smiling at me?"
What Sissi didn't know was that there was a strong chill under Patrick's smile. She thought that her obedience had won his favor, but in fact, her two-faced look made him feel sick.
He believed that if he were in the position of Sawyer today, Sissi would also betray him in order to live a good life.
After withdrawing his thoughts, he said, "Well, I will ask my lawyer to talk about the testimony in court with you some other day.
As long as you sign the document, I will immediately take you out of here and let you live the life you want."
Of course, Sissi nodded in agreement. She had been eager for freedom for too long. Since Sawyer could not realize it for her, she could only realize it for herself!

One day later, a middle-aged female lawyer appeared in Sissi's cell.
She had a straight face and a serious look. Sissi was so scared that she didn't dare to make any trouble.
This was also one of Patrick's strategies. An ordinary man or a young girl would inevitably be fascinated by her charm when they saw Sissi, so he hired an experienced woman to negotiate with her.
Just as Patrick had expected, the middle-aged female lawyer's aura was so strong that Sissi almost couldn't breathe. She almost listened to whatever the female lawyer said.
Then, the female lawyer took out a contract and a pen from her briefcase. "Ms. Roberts, this is the contract that Mr. Hopper asked me to prepare for you. Please read it carefully. If there is no problem, please sign it."
"Okay, I'll read it right away!"
Sissi held the contract, as if she was holding her life- saving straw. Her eyes widened unconsciously, and she was picking out words one by one.
Patrick didn't let her down. All the terms and conditions on the contract met her needs. Then, she signed her name happily.
