Cassandra was still confused. “What do you mean by that?”

The conversation itself was embarrassing enough. Cassandra wanted nothing more than to dig a hole to bury herself in. Her face flushed with humiliation; she pursed her lips, lowering her head in shame.

Samantha was trying to humiliate the entire Lewis family! What on earth was she doing, going to Rachel?
