“We’d have nothing to say about you two being together if Rachel had never married. The problem right now is that she’s a divorcee. Your family will never agree to you marrying a divorcee. Gerald made himself very clear, but his words chilled Rachel’s heart.

He despised her for embarrassing the family and thought she wasn’t worthy of the Hunts. The nerve of her to dream about marrying Tyler as a divorcee!
