In the VIP lounge at the airport, Tyler said something to Yale in a low voice.
Yale stood by his side while holding a thick itinerary packed with reminders written line by line.
When he saw Rachel walk in, Tyler immediately came over and gently smoothed her slightly messy
hair.
“All set?”
“Yeah.”
Rachel tilted her head back to look at him. Suddenly, she recalled the first time she had met him. Back then, he had been distant and aloof. There was always a cold look in his eyes.
Under the lounge’s lights, she could see her own reflection clearly in his eyes.
The boarding announcement came through the speakers. Tyler picked up her suitcase. His fingers lingered on the handle for a long time.
“Text me when you land. Video call me every night.‘

He turned to Jerry and Yale. His tone instantly became stern.
“Take care of her. If anything happens, report to me immediately. I don’t want a single slip–up.”
Jerry nodded. “Mr. Hunt, you can count on me!”
Yale quickly echoed, “We’ll stay by her side at all times.‘
The glass walls of the jet bridge mirrored two figures leaning close together. Rachel stood on tiptoe to hug Tyler. She rested her chin on his shoulder. “I’ll be back before you know it.”
“Okay.” Tyler’s arms tightened around her.
Even after she disappeared down the far end of the jet bridge, Tyler remained where he stood.
Sunlight streamed through the giant windows and fell across him. His phone buzzed with a new message from Rachel.

Tyler lowered his gaze to the screen. His smile grew wide.
Once he returned to the company, he threw himself completely into work. He knew well that everything the company had today was because of Rachel.

She had given him everything she could. For her sake, he couldn’t allow the company to collapse. He had promised Rachel and every employee there that he would bring the company back on its feet.
The staff began gathering together in small groups. They were all surprised by Tyler’s renewed spirits.
“What’s with Mr. Hunt? He feels different all of a sudden.”
“Yeah. For a while, I thought he’d completely lost interest in running the company. But now, he’s like

“Didn’t you notice? There’s light in his eyes again.”
“Exactly. He must’ve gone through something. Even rich people have their troubles, but who cares? If Mr. Hunt’s back in the game, then so are we.”
“That’s right. Mr. Hunt’s tough on us sometimes, but honestly? LS Enterprise treats employees better than almost any other company in Yurelia City.”
Tyler stood tall, his presence sharp and commanding. His dark, fathomless eyes once again gleamed with ambition.
His voice dropped low and carried an unshakable force.
“Once the company’s back to running normally, you’ll all receive bonuses based on performance and overtime. On that, you have my word.”
Everyone in the office cheered.
“Mr. Hunt, we’re with the company no matter what!”
“Yeah! Don’t worry, Mr. Hunt. The company’s like my home. I might as well just live here from now on.”
“Same here!”
Though his expression remained stern, Tyler’s heart softened. He clapped his hands.
