When Rachel thought about it, it suddenly hit her.

There was nothing wrong with the baby. The ones at fault were them. If she got rid of the baby now, wouldn’t that mean letting the child bear their sins?
What did their own sins have to do with the child?
She suddenly stood up from the couch and said, “Wanda, I need to head upstairs for a bit. Could you call me when the hot wings are ready?”
Although Wanda didn’t know why Rachel had reacted so strongly out of nowhere, she nodded anyway.
“Go on, I’ll call you when it’s done.”
Rachel rushed upstairs, her footsteps thudding against the floor.
She shoved open Tyler’s door. He was in the middle of a video conference, and when he saw Rachel barge in, he quickly told the people on screen, “Give me a minute.”
He stood up, walked over to her, and asked softly with his brows slightly furrowed, “What’s wrong?”
Rachel hadn’t even noticed he was in a meeting. She thought he was just reading files, so she blurted out immediately, “Tyler, I’ve decided to keep the baby. You have to believe me. I’ve even thought of names. Actually, I thought of them a while ago. If it’s a boy, we’ll call him Aaron. If it’s a girl, we’ll call her Chloe. What do you think?”
Tyler was caught off guard by Rachel’s sudden outburst.
Meanwhile, the shareholders on the other end of the call started talking.
“Since when does Mr. Hunt have a wife?”
“Did anyone hear about a wedding or anything?”
“Nope.”
“No wonder he’s been full of energy these past few days. Looks like he’s about to have a kid.”
“Man, Mr. Hunt really moves fast. Nobody heard a thing, and suddenly he’s going to be a dad?”
“Congratulations to Mr. Hunt!”
The voices coming through the laptop made Rachel freeze. She looked at Tyler in shock.
“What’s going on? Are you in a meeting?”
“Yeah.”
Seeing Rachel’s cheeks turn red, Tyler couldn’t help but tease, “So that whole thing earlier was just to mess with me, huh? Pretending you didn’t want the baby, when really you’d already picked out names.”

Embarrassed, Rachel shoved him lightly.
“Finish your meeting. We’ll talk about this later.”
She turned to leave, but Tyler suddenly wrapped an arm around her waist.
“Wait. Wanda’s making something good, isn’t she? I can smell it.”
