Chapter 920

After the ambulance arrived, Tyler made Yale stay to deal with the police. He had to accompany Samantha to the hospital.

To prevent anything unexpected from happening, Tyler thought it was better for him to keep an eye on Samantha himself.

On the way to the hospital in the ambulance, Tyler called William.

“Come to the hospital right now. Samantha got into a car accident.”

“Samantha and I are divorced. Whether she got into a car accident or not doesn’t concern me anymore,” William said almost flatly.

Tyler said commandingly, “This isn’t a discussion. Get to the hospital right now!”

“Got it,” William said servilely.

The ambulance soon arrived at the hospital. Tyler saw Samantha being wheeled into the operating theatre and repeatedly reminded the doctors to do their best.

“Don’t worry. Family members, please wait outside.”

The sign on the doors lit up.

Tyler called Yale again. “There’s a surveillance camera at the site where Samantha got into the accident. Make a copy of it in case we need it.”

He was worried about the police getting their hands on the footage, which would only make it harder for them to

have access to it.

“Yes, sir,” Yale responded.

Very soon, William rushed over. “Tyler.”

Tyler frowned, an ominous look in his eyes. “Did you not settle things properly when you divorced Samantha?”

“I did. I gave her a sum of money, but she complained that it was too little. I didn’t give her a cent after that. She’d come to me every other day, and I simply ignored her. What’s wrong?”

Tyler more or less understood what had happened from the paramedics in the ambulance.

“Rachel was waiting for me by the roadside and somehow bumped into Samantha. You might not have known the kind of person Samantha was in the past, but you probably know it now. She’s basically a wolf in sheep’s clothing. They probably had an argument, but we’re still investigating how Samantha got into the car accident.”

William was shocked to hear what happened. Anger rose in his chest.

“What else could it be? Rachel couldn’t have gone to Samantha. Samantha probably still feels frustrated over our divorce and had no other outlet to vent her frustration, so she ended up looking for Rachel. There’s no need to investigate. No doubt, it was Samantha who caused all that trouble.”

William lowered his head, looking like a child who did something wrong, even though he didn’t want to look like such a loser before Tyler.
