Hearing the number, Rosemary was even less willing to accept it. "I have my own money."
"Just take it." Hunter shoved the card into her hand. "Use it as you please. Don’t sweat it."
"I won’t spend that much."
"Then save it. When you get married, I’ll give you more." Hunter’ eyes softened. "Consider it living expenses from me."
The comment left Serena nearby fuming!
Living expenses!
Two billion in living expenses!
"If you ever get tired and don’t want to work anymore, let me know. I’ll take care of you." Hunter’ voice softened. "If there are any companies under our group that you’re interested in, say the word, and
they’re yours."
Serena was furious.
"Thank you." Rosemary wasn’t interested in any companies. She was too busy with her own personal affairs, but Hunter’ words did warm her heart.
"I’ll be in the country for a few days. If there’s anywhere you want to go or anything you want to do, you can find me. I’ll accompany you." Serena’s face twisted in anger. Just yesterday, she had asked him–to-go–shopping with her after the game, and he said he didn’t have time!
Now he had time for Rosemary?
His favoritism was too obvious!
"What’s your number?" Hunter pulled out his phone.
Rosemary rattled off a series of numbers.
After saving the number, Hunter dialed it. "This is my number. If you need anything, call me anytime. Don’t worry about disturbing my rest or work."
"Alright."
Hunter added her on WhatsApp. "If it’s not convenient to say it over the phone or you’re too embarrassed, you can also text me."
Rosemary let out a rare smile, genuine from the heart. "Thank you."
"We’re family. No need for thanks." Hunter’ eyes softened again. "You should rest early. If you need anything, just find me."
"Alright." Rosemary watched his figure leave before finally shutting the door.
Serena, hiding in a corner, was consumed with jealousy and resentment. Just because she and Rosemary shared the same blood, was he favoring Rosemary?
Among her five brothers, he was the most calm, serious, and difficult to get along with. Yet he was unusually gentle and indulgent towards Rosemary!
Serena clenched her fists. Rosemary, she shouldn’t have appeared in this family. Her arrival ruined everything for Serena!
As soon as Rosemary entered her room, she received a call from Romeo.
"Rose, I’m back in the country." Romeo called her as soon as he got off the plane. There’s something I need to handle. I’ll come see you later."
"Alright." Rosemary’s voice also softened.
"Mm, I miss you." Romeo’s voice was full of longing. "See you soon."
"Alright."
After hanging up, Romeo was watching the game video handed over by Carl. The scar on Rosemary’s right wrist was very apparent. His eyes turned icy cold. Who the hell dared to harm Rosemary?
