Early the next morning, Hunter saw Rosemary finish breakfast and immediately approached her, saying,

"Rosemary, let me drop you off at work."

"No need; Romeo will pick me up."

Hunter had barely spent any time at home; he hadn’t even had the chance to drop off his sister!

Romeo sensed hostility from Hunter’s gaze; this hostility was clearly because he thought he had stolen his sister.

"You guys knew each other before?"

"She saved my grandfather’s life at the hospital, and her medical skills were impressive; it left a deep impression on me."

Hunter had heard about this from his mom; his sister had saved Romeo’s grandfather twice, and Romeo’s grandfather was so fond of her that he even gave her the crown necklace that symbolized the

status of granddaughter–in–law!

"What do your folks think about us dating?" Hunter asked, pretty chill about it.
