"Dad!"
Zachary staggered back in disbelief, unable to accept that his father was really going to harm him.
"Which hand of yours touched Rosemary?"
Zachary’s voice trembled as he watched his father approach step by step.
"Dad, I won’t do it again."
"I asked— which hand touched Rosemary?"
"Dad!" Zachary trembled in fear, tears streaming down his face.
Soon after, a scream echoed from the garden.
Romeo covered Rosemary’s eyes, speaking softly.
"Don’t look."
The sight was too bloody.
Rosemary moved his hand away, seeing Zachary’s hand bleeding.
Although the tendon was not cut, a long scar was left on his arm. Ordinary doctors probably couldn’t help; he might be scarred for life.
Mr. Panter, ignoring his son’s pain, bent over and asked Romeo, "Mr. McMillian, are you satisfied with this outcome?"
Seeing his humble demeanor, Romeo’s voice remained cold.
"You’re asking the wrong person."
Mr. Panter quickly turned to Rosemary.
"Ms. Rose, is this acceptable? Can you spare us? I will continue to discipline this unfilial son when we get home!"
Rosemary responded indifferently, "You can go now."
Mr. Panter bowed his head immediately.
"Thank you, Ms. Rose. We’ll leave now and won’t bother you again."
Yolanda pretended to help Zachary up, but Mrs. Panter pushed her away before she could touch him.
"You bitch! It’s all your fault!"
Yolanda was taken aback.
"Auntie—"
"If it wasn’t for you stirring things up, why would Zachary go after Rosemary, trying to stand up for your family?"
Mrs. Panter and her husband helped their son up, clearly despising Yolanda.
Attlee and Olga signaled their daughter not to interfere, but just as they were about to leave, they heard Romeo say—
"Wait."
The Panter family froze in fear, thinking Romeo had changed his mind.
"Mr. McMillian—"
Didn’t Rosemary agree to let them leave?
"I didn’t say you could leave."
Realizing Romeo was addressing the Harris family, the Panthers sighed in relief and quickly left with their son.
Attlee looked at Romeo fearfully, his voice filled with humility and appeasement.
"Mr. McMillian, do you have any other instructions?"
Instead of answering, Romeo turned to Erlinda.
"Ms. Archer, can I borrow a few of your men?"
He had only brought Carl with him tonight and was short on manpower.
Erlinda readily agreed.
"No problem. Use them as you wish."
Romeo spoke coldly, without any unnecessary words.
"Take them away. Give them a beating."
Carl stepped forward, grabbing Attlee’s arm first.
Erlinda waved her hand, and several bodyguards stepped forward to grab the others.
"Mr. McMillian, is there a misunderstanding? We have nothing to do with tonight’s incident!"
"It was clearly the Panter boy who touched Rosemary. We didn’t do anything! Please let us go—please!"
"Sis! Say something, sis!"
The sound of Yolanda’s voice annoyed Rosemary. Seeing her discomfort, Romeo added—
"That woman, while she’s still young, should be taught a lesson."
Rosemary was somewhat surprised, not expecting Romeo to pick up on her mood—and even instructing for Yolanda to be beaten more.
The guests were shocked, not expecting such dramatic events at tonight’s charity gala.
As the Harris family was taken away, Erlinda stepped onto the center stage, flashing a charming smile.
"I’m looking forward to your wedding."
