“Second, bring her favorite dessert. Cake, bubble tea, anything sweet. Trust me, no girl can say no to treats.”

“Last step, grab her hand and look her in the eyes. Say ‘Sorry, it was my fault’ and promise you’ll never do it again. That’s it, she’ll forgive you for sure.”

Neal, who was driving, glanced at them in the rearview mirror and let out this dry, knowing laugh, the kind that only comes from years of experience.
