Dumping The Ice King His Mini-Tyrant novel Chapter 339

Selene’s face was scarlet, her lips pressed tightly together to keep any sound from escaping, but inside, she was screaming like a groundhog.

Adrian’s eyes narrowed with amusement as he watched the veins stand out on Harrison’s darkening face.

“Harrison, why aren’t you smiling? Not the cheerful type?” Adrian teased, his smile only widening.

Selene wasn’t sure if it was the heat in her cheeks or the pounding in her head, but to her, Harrison looked like he was trembling all over. Her ex-husband seemed utterly shaken.

Luke Holloway, meanwhile, was calm as ever. He didn’t have much experience with these things—he’d never even heard of such a procedure. Now, he had Adrian’s chart in one hand and his phone in the other, typing in, “purpose of an implant.”

So that’s where it goes? People really do this?

Adrian was already well-endowed—he was in the top tier by any standard—and yet he still went through all this effort!

When Luke finished reading, he looked at Adrian with a new level of respect. This kind of commitment to self-improvement was honestly impressive.

Luke was jolted out of his thoughts by Harrison’s angry outburst. “Disgusting!”

Harrison’s tone was dripping with contempt. “Who would’ve thought—the great heir to the Shaw Group, stooping to club tricks, needing some crystal bead to please a woman. Pathetic.”

But Adrian just grinned, unfazed, his expression only more delighted. “Are you saying all this because you’re jealous? Let’s be honest—you’re not even in the running for Selene’s attention anymore.”

Harrison’s heart skipped a beat. It felt like a bomb had gone off in his chest, the shockwave threatening to tear him apart. In his eyes, Adrian’s grin was the smug smile of a victor.

With a scoff, Harrison retorted, “If I hadn’t divorced her, you’d never have stood a chance.”

Suddenly, something clicked for Luke. His gaze turned cold as he looked at Adrian. He realized this was a classic two-birds-one-stone play—Adrian claimed he did it for Selene’s pleasure, but in just a few words, he’d planted a seed in her mind. Now Selene would always be curious about that implant. Maybe, just to spare Adrian another surgery, she’d think twice about ending things.

Luke quickly warned, “Selene, don’t let him get to you!”

Of course, what Luke realized, Selene had already thought of. Adrian’s move was bold and out in the open—a challenge impossible to ignore. She’d picked out the bead herself, and now she couldn’t help but wonder what it looked like, implanted in that intimate place. If she ever said, “Let me see it,”—just picturing that made her cheeks burn even hotter.

“Adrian, can we talk? Alone.” Selene forced herself to focus, trying to regain her composure.

Adrian gestured with a gentlemanly flourish. “After you.”

And with that, Selene followed him toward his car.
