She sat at her desk until 10:30 at night, yawned, closed her laptop, and got up, planning to go back to her bedroom to take a shower and go to bed.

Just as she stood up and turned around, she saw through the floor–to- ceiling window behind the desk that the villa right across from the study, which hadn’t had its lights on for a long time, had its lights on tonight.

She walked to the window and stared at the villa.

She didn’t know why, but she actually had this feeling of being watched.

Also, those two peeping gazes felt strangely familiar.

She frowned, turned off the light right away, left the study, and then

called Laurel.

“Ms. Aguilera.”

“Go check if the villa across was bought and who the buyer was,” Iris

said.

Laurel nodded and went to do it.

When Iris came out of the bathroom after her shower, Laurel already had the answer.

Actually, she had already guessed it, she just didn’t expect that Heriberto would really act this fast.

The next morning, Heriberto actually showed up at Weston Manor at 7:30.

Iris went downstairs and saw him holding Ezekiel and Isabella on each side. All three of them were grinning from ear to ear.

She frowned a little irritably.

“Ira, morning!”

Heriberto saw her and immediately acted like a student seeing the dean, super well–behaved, even stood up straighter without realizing it.

“Mom, look, Dad’s here again,” Isabella called out to Iris happily.

“Mom, Dad brought me a super big Transformer.” Ezekiel also pointed at the gift Heriberto brought and shouted excitedly.

Iris walked over with a smile and gently took Ezekiel and Isabella from Heriberto’s arms, handing them to the two nannies.

“Zeke, Bella, you guys go sit in the dining room first and wait for Mom to have breakfast together, okay?” she coaxed.

“Okay, Bella waited for Dad and Mom to have breakfast together.” Isabella nodded softly and agreed.

Two nannies took Ezekiel and Isabella to the restaurant.

“Ira, today…”

“Heriberto, if you did this, it really messed up my life.”
