Chapter 155

He approached Jennifer and, without laying a finger on her, just tugged at his bathrobe.

Jennifer realized that Terrance was trying to seduce her.

“I think I look okay, maybe not as good as Brayan, but since you’re getting a divorce, it shows he’s not good in that department, so… how about giving me a chance?”

When Terrance leaned in to kiss her, Jennifer decisively pushed him away.

“Brayan was fine in that department.”

Jennifer was trying to defend Brayan, Terrance chuckled.

“So, the reason you wanted to divorce him no matter what… is because he was seeing someone else, right?”

“What do you know?”

Jennifer didn’t believe that Terrance had “nothing” to do with her marital status.

“Catalina… was Brayan’s high school classmate, also his first love. When they graduated from high school, Catalina broke up with Brayan unilaterally. Catalina went abroad, now she’s back in the country. Brayan has added a new jewelry product line for her, and opened a studio for her. If you say there’s nothing going on between them, I bet you wouldn’t believe it, right?”

Jennifer wasn’t surprised at all.

“I tried to catch him cheating with Catalina, but failed.”

“Even if he didn’t cheat… his actions can still be used as a reason for the breakdown of your marriage.”

Terrance’s words made Jennifer look up and brightened her eyes.

But Terrance stopped there and brought the topic back.

“Since Brayan was cheating outside, don’t you want to give him a big green hat?”

Jennifer knew she was like a piece of fat that Terrance couldn’t eat even though it was right in front of him.

“I don’t want to,” she shook her head.

“Don’t tell me you still love him until now.”

Jennifer was stunned, only to see Terrance laughing heartily.

“I didn’t expect you to be so cheap!”

“I just didn’t want Brayan to turn around and accuse me of cheating in my marriage.”

Jennifer was very firm.

Terrance shrugged, knowing full well that Jennifer was just making

excuses.

“Since you don’t agree to sleep with me, then please leave!”

Jennifer was a bit surprised. She didn’t expect Terrance to let her go so easily.

Terrance changed his clothes in the dressing room and then left the room like a fleeing soldier without his armor.

This time, Jennifer ended up sharing a room with Ronan alone.

“I asked if you were crazy?!”

Jennifer thought Ronan would comfort her, but instead he gave her a harsh scolding.

“You, a woman, meeting a man alone in a hotel late at night, do you have any common sense?! And do you know what kind of person he is? That Terrance… the number of women he has played with could circle the Earth. Going to court with him, what’s the difference between that and walking into a lion’s den? If I hadn’t come here to check on work and seen you tonight, do you know what would have happened to you?!”

Jennifer’s ears were almost deafened by Ronan’s loud voice.

She saw Ronan scolding her, panting and red–faced, so she poured him a glass of water.

Ronan still wanted to curse, but when he saw Jennifer pouring water for herself, his heart softened.

“How old are you already? You’re not a kid anymore, why are you so defenseless! There are so many lawyers in the world, yet you chose the one with the worst character…”

After taking a sip of water, Ronan, who had a dry mouth just now, suddenly found that plain water was really sweet.

Jennifer stared at the chatty Ronan for a while, then suddenly asked,
