The Ex-Husband's Apology (by Sebastian Grey) novel Chapter 187

Chapter 187

Catalina looked really troubled.

She never told Brayan from start to finish that the gift she gave to Jennifer was a bunch of pink roses, and of course Brayan didn’t ask.

A few days later, Brayan finished up his business and showed up in Jennifer’s hospital room.

There were a few people in Jennifer’s hospital–room.

Lydia, Peter, and Ronan were all here.

All eyes were on Brayan.

Brayan first saw Ronan.

Being stared at coldly by Brayan, Ronan touched the back of his neck, feeling like he had been bitten by a poisonous snake.

“Brayan…”

“Sir Palmer asked me several times, saying you haven’t been to the company these days, where have you been hanging out?”

“I told him! I said my friend got into a car accident, got injured and was hospitalized. I went to visit him in the hospital, why doesn’t he believe me!”

“Friend…”

Brayan picked out the key words and glanced at Jennifer.

Ronan looked awkward.

He felt like he was a bit out of sorts now.

Catalina and Jennifer used to be rivals. He was always on Catalina’s side, so being friends with Jennifer didn’t seem right.

“The doctor said Jennifer needed to rest. If Mr. LeBlanc doesn’t have anything else, he can leave.”

Peter couldn’t stand Brayan.

I couldn’t stand it, especially when Brayan was around, Jennifer always felt uncomfortable.

“I’m Jennifer’s husband, I didn’t drive you away, you’re the one who drove me away,” Brayan said, hands in his pockets, looking coldly at Peter.

Peter didn’t back down either, he retorted, “Aren’t you guys getting

divorced soon?”

Brayan’s face remained unchanged, but a storm was brewing in his

eyes.

It was like the whole world knew that he and Jennifer were getting divorced.

“About to get divorced… means not divorced yet. Do I need to explain this to Director Peter?”

“You still have the nerve to say you guys haven’t divorced yet!”

Lydia couldn’t stand it anymore on the side.

But she didn’t tell Lydia about these analyses, because she knew for sure that Lydia would misunderstand and think she was speaking on behalf of Brayan. Lydia would definitely call her a love–struck fool.

“Are you done cursing?” Brayan asked Lydia, not angry at all.

Chapter187

“Not yet!” Lydia really went all out this time, pointing at Brayan’s nose in front of Jennifer, Peter, and Ronan, scolding him for not being a gentleman, being two–faced, heartless, and a big flirt, and so on. She kept repeating the same insults over and over again until she was foaming at the mouth.

“Alright, let’s just curse these for now!” Lydia’s voice was hoarse, she poured herself a glass of water.

Beside him, Ronan watched Brayan with a poker face and couldn’t help but give him a thumbs up in his mind.

No wonder I’m Brayan, my mental toughness is really something!

Peter was originally going to blame Brayan, but compared to Lydia, he was really no match.

“Who else wants to curse at me, let’s do it together,” Brayan asked Peter and Ronan, his voice calm.

Peter was silent, Ronan kept waving his hands, looking like he was saying, “I wouldn’t dare!”

Finally, he looked at Jennifer lying on the hospital bed and asked.

“What about you?”

Jennifer shook her head, saying nothing.

“Since you’ve said all the bad things you wanted to say, and now vou don’t want to say anymore, please leave first. I have something to say to my wife alone.”
